The days, weeks, and months just fly by when you truly enjoy the process. Those days where you may've been frustrated because you weren't seeing the results you expected turn out to be a gift in disguise through commitment and perseverance.

High performance athlete here TLDR: They want an object measure of your athletic ability (power in legs) and using momentum takes skill. They remove the skill factor so they can apply the number across all sports. Explanation: This is the RBC training ground where they try to find what sport is most suitable for different athletes. This specific station is for measuring the power you can produce in your legs. To take skill out of the equation and get everyone on the same standard, (from experience) they'll typically ask you to put your hands on your hips so you can't build momentum and all height comes from the legs. There are other ways of doing it such as on a bike, but this one is the easiest since all you need is a force plate that calculates jump height from your body weight and the power produced. This way the number can be applied across different sports since jumping isn't the only thing leg power is used for. Such as sprinting and skating where the technique is different.

These suck bro , just do hang cleans and hang snatches as they mimmick a jump much more. Do full rom squats
@Bang-ws6zb
@Bang-ws6zb 3 сағат бұрын
Full rom squats are good for building potential, but half squats and quarter are great for improving power and more specific to dunking.
