Bill Oakley is literally parallel universe Jimmy if he just swallowed his pride and slowly built up his practice like Bill did. Drink the terrible coffee, defend clients for pennies, and do an honest day's work. I'm glad we got to see Bill's effort pay off.

Howard is one of those corporate lawyers too familiar with the country club and golf course. He would charge me twice as much to have his paralegal do all the actual work. Do you see how many people work for HHM? Who wouldn't rather go with the small guy, who will fight for your rights? I like Saul's personal attention, just need to be an above board lawyer.

Not really, Saul kinda screws him he will be remembered as the lawyer who turned a 7 year sentence into an 86 year one.

His relationship with James/Saul is definitely one of a friend, proven he flew to Omaha for James probono (considering the result of the trial) even though they disagree a lot about petty with a prior deal.

Some people have felt bad for Bill, saying he got screwed over but I think this could actually work out good for him in the long run. It was Jimmy who confessed everything and ruined the original plea bargain, but Oakley can still advertise to his clients that he was the mastermind behind Saul freaking Goodman getting a deal of only 7 years and no one will be the wiser. Of course we all know that was actually Saul’s doing but Bill’s future clients don’t have to know that. I know if I was ever in a jam, I’d certainly… Trust Experience Trust Oakley

It's because the Saul case was nationwide, far bigger than any case he'd ever taken on. This was good for putting Bill Oakley on the map across the country. That's how Saul sold it to him aswell
