Wait? How can you beat Crocomire without the Power Bombs?

I'm playing Super Metroid for the first time and I just did this using infinite morph ball jumps. It required re-entering the room many times until I got the timing right. Every attempt, the floor under you breaks and you fall into the water. So you start by missiling the ceiling, then doing the morph balls. Surprised I did it!

I always found it interesting how Ridley was never the Final Boss.

When I played this years ago... I managed to actually take down Crocomire with the Plasma Beam.

This reminds me of when I got the Speed Booster early, doing an insane wall jump in the corner of the platform leading to the Speed Booster in Norfair

His roar offically makes him both the cunning god of death and the killer of the living

I know its possible , but gow does one become so skilled at this game that you can fight ridley first. He's a tough boss even with all the upgrades
