What % of recruits have a deal breaker?

If the dynasty is only 30 seasons. Does the coach you create have to retire at the end of the dynasty? Or can the coach you create move on to a new 30 year dynasty with a new team?

I think the gems are bait and what really matters is dev trait. Like you said, gems just +- a star.

The inability to edit fictional players, the cap on coaching upgrades, and not being on PC has genuinely made a potential all time great game into one to forget and only remember because it was the first one in a decade. EA dropped the ball on this one…AGAIN

The patch may have changed things. I have a 5 star green gem who turned out to be a 74 OVR Star dev trait. He should have stepped in as a true freshmen as my starting RG. I don't know if this was still possible pre-patch, but I had not seen it happen.

Excellent video. But “Send the House” I’d rather effective at both revealing and achieving the commit.

A real data analysis would be seeing where the recruits are distributed and determining if there are imbalances in pipeline competition. We know Texas, Ohio, and Florida have the most recruits, but the top tier competition there is huge. It would be interesting to see if there is an imbalance somewhere or if they balanced it based off pipelines.

They should add a setting to toggle the limit off and on so people who agree with the limit and don’t can have the best of both worlds😊

If you're an elite program, scouting five stars at the beginning of the season is going to be the way to go. You're going to go after every gem harder than you go after the regulars and the busts you're probably not going to touch and will want to look for gem four stars later on in the season.

You should make a video about player progression in dynasty mode. The xp system seems almost fully hidden but I wonder if it works the same as road to glory

I took over UTSA because of the location in the hotbed and that proximity to home and championship contender in a mid-level conference has been clutch in getting quality recruits. Glad to see that I was partially right, but thanks for going into the machinations

For higher end recruits i mostly scout to separate them by their perks, so i knkw who i really want to fight for

I wonder how gems correlate with their traits. If a 3 star gem has a higher chance of being a star/impact trading player over a regular 4 star.

i only scout the first week and my top class has been 18th overall as 1 star cmu year 1

It depends on what you’re looking to accomplish. If you’re looking for a top recruiting class, quantity over quality is the best approach. If you’re looking to have the best overall team it’s quality over quantity. Utilizing the coach progression perks is key. There are perks that increase players rates of developement as well as skill caps and hours you can recruit certain positions. The biggest obstacle is turning around smaller schools, relative to power 5 conferences you will have limited hours to commit each week. Recruiting for needs as well as to strengthen positions of weakness is also a major factor. Recruiting to find the ideal position fits and scouring for the best stats difficult due to the hours you have. Qb is the one I mainly focus on because you can recruit QBs and find them lacking in throwing power, this trait is very slow to progress, if it does at all.

I think if they get rid of spending points in other areas to unlock other areas would make it better.

Didn’t see if you mentioned this but there are “buy-in” costs for all the archetypes after the initial free normal one. I ran into this problem with my builds because of the uneven ness of the 15 point Guru buy-int that didn’t leave the 8 point guru trees without a remainder. What usually happened was I had 498 points spent and nothing to use my last two points on

One thing I wish they would fix is player progression works. It should be achievement based then allow additional gains through training. Like real life. Not just some preprogrammed outcome based on dev trait . Would make developing players much more rewarding

I started as an OC at UGA since their headcoach has the ceo ability unlocked to get them cheaper. then when im upgraded enough I move on to a head coach position.

They should make certain tiers achievable by accomplishments as well. Like you win 3 championships and have two coaches hired as HC and 5 top recruiting classes you unlock CEO for free

Depends on if you’re playing comp or not. If you’re playing comp, attributes like speed matter a great deal. In that case you want to scout. No sense in having a mid 80s RB with 85 speed.

As a data manager myself, I love this approach! Just one question - what's the sample size for your analysis? Preferably, knowing the sample size for each star level would be nice.

You should at least get enough points to fully upgrade one basic tree and one of the unlock trees. Im not asking for all upgrades, but GD, you cant max out 2 trees
