The PA PHP is composed of extremely honorable individuals. It couldn't be run by a better group. That is a fact.

Yes, this mess is and has destroyed. Neighborhoods. As well as drug over doses. Those covering it up for a price. Security guards, some times cops. Maintenance workers. Property manegers in housing.

Can we get some more urologists in the Scranton/Wilkes Barre area? We had 5 out of 6 really good Doctors leave the area because of an internal disagreement between the CEO and the medical staff. That shouldn’t happen with the amount of people dealing with kidney stones, prostate cancer, infections, etc. People are suffering.

WARNING: Beware the #MedPharmComplex From: Medical Pharmaceutical Complex / Subject: 12 Steps to Creating Heroin Crisis in America: 1.) Start child’s daily drug use as early as possible. Prescribe daily drug regimens such as Ritalin as often as possible. Teach children young that medications exist for all life problems. 2.) Use television, radio, social media, anything, to push drug use. Only 25% of TV ads now push drug use. We can do better than that. Remember, there is no life problem that cannot be addressed with chemicals. 3.) Push antidepressants. These drugs should be started as young as possible as they are nicely addictive. Anti-anxiety benzodiazepines are also guaranteed revenue streams. What patient of yours is never anxious or depressed? Use benzodiazepines as de facto euthanasia method for chronic patients. 4.) Invent adult ADHD. Too many patients are being lost from Ritalin revenue stream. Broaden drug revenue net by inventing diseases like “restless leg syndrome” to get patients used to daily drug use. Seek drug seeking patients. 5.) Push opioids. This step is critical. At every opportunity-pulled tooth, sore arm, stubbed toe-push opioids in the form of OxyContin, Percocet, Vicodin, Oxycodone, Hydrocodone, Lortab, Codeine, Percodan, Tylox, Demerol, Morphine, Dihydrocodeine, Methadone, Buprenorphine and Diamorphine etc... Opioids have recently been approved for children. Addiction can never start too young. 6.) At appropriate time, begin to treat opioid taking patient like addict. This helps patient transition to criminal addict mentality. 7.) Have pharmacy treat opioid taking patient like criminal. Patient must acquire criminal addict mind set. The physical addiction we have induced will do the rest of our work. 8.) Cut patient off from prescription opioids. 9.) Success. Doc has created a heroin addict as patient is now addicted to opioids which are only available as heroin or prohibitively expensive illegal pills. Good work. 10.) Sell antidote. Exploit revenue opportunity created by heroin epidemic created by medical pharmaceutical complex. Increase antidote price once communities begin to depend upon it. Discover the upper limit of what the market will bear. Life is valuable; we must charge accordingly. 11.) Blame marijuana. Marijuana legalization is costing the medical pharmaceutical complex a fortune and must be reversed immediately. If marijuana is not considered responsible for heroin crisis, public may catch on to our 12 step plan. 12.) Hire more lobbyists. Protect the medical pharmaceutical complex at all cost.

If they are REALLY so concerned about "The Opioid Epedemic", why won't my Pa insurance cover my request for a TENS unit to help offset my need for pain medications?? I was on 150. 30mg oxycodone/no PLUS Fentynal patches at 75 mcg/h each and every month!! I..I...it was ME who requested less strength (mg's), and less quantity of these medications. I went to "pain management", and that Dr said right to my face.."You are addicted"!! I said no I'm not, I can quit anytime and he almost panicked saying no no no, don't do that, you'll get sick!! My caregiver was there with me trying to tell the Dr the same thing! He was adamant that I was addicted! So, I changed Drs and stopped using the Fentynal altogether and had my oxy reduced to 120/no and now 20mg pills. This I did myself!! No help from state, government or ANY "agency"!! I've requested, my Drs have requested, the Welspan advocacy board has requested that insurance cover the TENS unit, but everyone only gets the run-a-round and a NO!! Why then all the "rhetoric" about an opioid epidemic and how they"want" to do "something" about it?? I call bulls--t!!! SHOW me, don't spit all over me with constant chatter about the problem!! Help those that want the help first, then go from there!! I don't want to be just another Pa statistic!! Anyone want to make wager here on what and how fast something will get done?? Do you even know what a TENS unit is??

Why can't the millions of dollars the ABIM has be use to help the 13% of physicians who failed their exam? Was any research done to find out why they failed? Could it be that not everyone can sit in front of a computer for 6+ hours answering questions and pass? Also I would like to know if any of those 13% took a review course or used any ABIM suggested materials for study. I also think there is big money in all the review courses you see that cost thousands of dollars and promise a pass rate.

Excellent and informative discussion. Again it helps GREATLY to first download the slides posted below by "Just Some" to help follow the narrative, since only part of the screen will show on the video.

WOW. Scary stuff, which, if factual as presented is truly damning. It really helps to download the slides below and follow them as you hear Kroll speak since the camera really didn't get the screen.
