An example of why I gave up on the Pirc. White’s opposite side casting attacking plans are so intuitive, while defending is pretty complicated. You can definitely fight for equality, but one wrong move and you’re crushed. Always exciting though.

What have you decided to play after the pirc?
@amarthurfurniture860Ай бұрын
Lol, after trying a few alternatives, I came back to the Pirc. It makes for exciting games and lets me play for a win as black. I never get a boring drawn position:)
@kyz6227Ай бұрын
@@amarthurfurniture860 thanks for the answer aha I normally play the KID but after they do the English attack I think it's called, which white did in this video I transpose into the Pirc. As, when I castle short and they pawn storm the king side in the KID it makes for a very uncomfortable position to play 😄 a good youtuber to watch play the pirc is NM Robert Ramirez he has a whole speedrun about it if that may help you in any way. I think it's a great watch

@@amarthurfurniture860 Hey i got to 2000 CC rapid playing the pirc, if you have trouble playing the pirc against the white queen side castle, try playing 5... c6 against the bishop queen battery, and launch an attack with b5 and moving the knight to b6 without castling kingside. Jus tlike in the game lol. LMK i can send a lichess study over

proves nothing, you can use computer when you feel you don't know the next move which prevents you from losing, that way you would have normal accuracy but still be cheating.

So many older players demeaning themselves. They can't seem to adapt to the modern computer age. But then again, Kasparov was a whiny kid when lost a game in his days. Maybe it's individualism that has gone out of control.

When there is money on the line, people cheat. Wether it is drugs, dodging drug tests, adapting your car illegally to be faster than someone else's, it don't matter, people cheat. Why then, do we think that chess will be any different? Probably more likely in chess as many GMs don't make a fortune, so more likely to cheat.
