Someone I deeply loved took me to this movie in the cinema. For those few hours life was perfect as I was next to him and for a moment, love wasn’t a dream, it was flesh and blood.

Because of Bianca being so beautiful, Elizaveta Boyarskaya (her voice actress in the original Russian version) had to speak her lines at a higher pitch than what she was comfortable with, causing her to almost break her voice. Hopefully Ruby didn’t have the same problem.

Original Swedish version pertains so much more depth. Sorry Hanks, love you, but Swedes has that melancholy you guys doesent have. Lassgård was made for this role

I used to watch this movie all the time as a little kid my mom is a teacher at a Montessori private school and I went there for my first couple years of school and we had French class there so my mom got this movie and a couple others that she’d play in French and English on our ride to school every day and seeing this unlocked so many core memories. I found the DVD for it a year ago at my mom‘s house and it made me so happy to find because I tried to look this movie up on every streaming service imaginable and the only way I could find it was like ordered off Amazon or something, but I found our original copy we had and it still has the blockbuster sticker on it or whatever because my mom had got it at blockbuster going out of business watching the movie and just seen the Blockbuster sticker on the packaging and everything just brings back so many memories of my early childhood and I’m only 19 this movie came out a couple years after I was born, but it’s such a great and obscure movie. I feel like and it’s always crazy when I run into people who have seen it

I just finished watching this movie on Peacock and it’s a great story!! The animation is very beautiful and unique. The sound really hits hard especially her struggle and perseverance in a blizzard. I just wish it continued with the ending.

Sad her mother and brother never allowed her to leave. From what I read the people who ran the asylum didn't feel she needed to be there and tried to convince her brother or mother to take her.
