Have you swung the black and white monsta lady torch?
@9sec2valve28 күн бұрын
Like the comparison. Is the 22oz a fastpitch bat or a 34/22? I did this 10 years ago with a 33/23 xeno but never did velo speeds. I could hit laser singles line to line and it felt great. Ld saw me swinging it and said i couldn’t use it in games anymore lol. I always felt like i got better speed with the xeno then my utrip 26oz’ers. Back then i was swinging 26oz og z2000 el.

I struggle on timing. Is there a certain point of the pitch where you stride forward in your swing? Like right when the ball starts arcing downward? Thanks for making these videos!
@bathound3 ай бұрын
That is a good question. I must say I've never really thought about that aspect much. I had found that especially the first several games of each year I struggled to get timing and strike zone in place. What I've seen help me the most with that is getting myself the Pop Toss so I could be out taking bp with a moving ball whenever time allows because I don't need a pitcher. It doesn't get the full distance of a game, but it is still getting the arc and the moving ball.

just got the sinister today and got about 200 swings.. hit my first 300 ft home run off of a tee with it. However im used to the demarini juggy and the swing weight difference is throwing me off. any tips on how you adjusted?
@bathound3 ай бұрын
Nice! I gamed the Juggy for years and it still has a sweet spot in my heart. The Juggy swings light compared to sticker generally speaking. I must say getting adjusted to the midload did take a little while. My first Torch I didn't care for. Then I got a Sinister and got more swings on it and suddenly it all clicked. So I would just recommend getting more swings on it.
@jobehdinh3 ай бұрын
@@bathound Yeah i agree, I kept topping the ball on the sinister in game and hitting grounders cause its so heavy. Had a 26 oz juggy. Glad to know it gets better haha I’ll keep at it. Actually bought the sinister cause I saw your video! Keep it up God bless you

What temp does it drop to in a game for you to consider not swinging a Monsta?
@bathound3 ай бұрын
I've gamed a Sinister in the 20's but I don't recommend that! Under 50 is best to consider something else. Technically Monsta is rated down to 40 but the ball gets harder under 50 so they say to not go under that.

wow very impressive! it is truly amazing!
@AustronesianMullet3 ай бұрын
Unlimited height is completely nuts. You walk up there and pray the pitcher doesn't get lucky with a 25 footer. I play in a 6'-16' league in Los Angeles on Friday nights and sometimes you just have to hit defensively when facing one of the good pitchers in the league.

Yeah that was a whole different ball game. I think it would be fun to get more games in next year if I can.

Dan, how do compare the sb-1 to the sinister? How about the swing feel between them?
@bathound4 ай бұрын
They feel fairly similar in the swing. The 25oz SB1 scales lighter though, at 24.4oz, and the 26oz is 25.8. So it does feel lighter and heavier than the average Sinister. Performance it is getting very close. The SB1 takes longer to break in though.
