Great stuff man! I love the note about your time with the bar before a lift. It was a massive mental shift for me once I standardized my warm up across the board and I started lifting much heavier with few issues at all.

Just a tip: don’t sway ur whole body. Go lighter in weight and don’t ego lift. Control the weight, get a stretch, and get the contraction. You’ll get better focus on the muscle.

understand and do 99% of my sets like this but sometimes its fun to do the full stack!

It looks like you are able to hit the lats well the way you set it up. Will it work for hitting the lower part of the lats perhaps by lowering the seat a bit and shortening the ROM at the contracted end. The Hammer Strength machine that is kind of similar to this Nautilus leverage high row is hitting mainly upper back for me
@marvinstrengthchroniclesАй бұрын
Lower lats are tricky but I feel them cramping when I pause at the most contracted part of the movement and with single arm stuff let’s say right arm is contracted my left foot is right down and my left glute is also contracting. I have also found lock row variations in my warm up to be a cheat code in activating the lower lat.

@marvinstrengthchronicles Thank you for taking the time to answer. I will try to test this particular machine myself before eventually ordering it for a gym I am responsible for. At the moment I use narrow grip cable vertical pulls for lower lats. The Hammer Strength supinated grip high row (unilateral) is too tricky to get right for me.

How are you liking this machine may I ask?
@marvinstrengthchroniclesАй бұрын
I set up machines for work so not mine but it’s pretty good for an entry level. More cables than you would think!

Admittedly after many issues with my manual missing pages or steps, I got tired of contacting the manufacturer but found your video. I followed along and finished setting up the gym in no time. Thank you for taking the time to show an easy follow along set up.

I like the concept, but everything new is designed for Olympic-style plates and I have old school steel ones with the small holes for my home gym. No way I'm getting rid of it all to go Olympic.

I actually reckon I have seen more standard(small hole) cambered bars than olympic(50mm hole) but I just checked google shopping and could not find anything. Id check the second hand market
