I mean... isn't there a spell you can do as the player to change someone into an animal? I know it's one of the ancient magic uses but... it's not that far of a stretch to say someone might've flubbed their magic, is it?

@@polar1371 I'm a newbie to this game, so I have absolutely no idea. I think there's a transfiguration spell that can be learned eventually, but I don't even think I'm close to having it. Lol But you saying this makes the idea that this was a person even scarier

Thank you! My thoughts exactly haha I think it's actually Cloud experiencing both his own life and Zack's life at the same time. He said it was five years ago, which was when he was a rookie and went to Nibelheim with both Sephiroth and Zack. But I also think something weird happened to him, because in Ever Crisis during his backstory section, he had to remind himself that he was Cloud Strife, which was super weird. Regardless this is going to be super confusing lol I can already tell haha
