S***, Johnson, audio video. The difference between that 550 and the 63. The 63. Is more aggressive and it has morewhat's power and the 550 is more recruiting type highway motor you know, to travel in vacation, especially if you got AGL 550. And I have a 2015 and that thing runs so smooth and nice. And then put you to sleep, maybe 1 day I'll trade in the Geo 515. Get a 63 right now. I don't see, that's happening. There's this fine $50. Great job and it has enough Horsepower for me. Over 469 horsepower. And it has the TV monitors for the kids. The coffee cups heating Chas dual son booth is unbelievable for s.U.V

Great Video ❤ My ML 63 AMG is a 2006 Model, bought it with 53’000km and has today 10th of March 2024 reached 366’600km without any significant issues. Driving from south of Switzerland 🇨🇭 weekly to northern Switzerland, pass roads, snow, ice, heavy rain and also a lot of German roads with up to 150mph. I will drive this c,ar, as long as my hard beats 😊 (I’m just 60). Beside this I have still my first brand new car I bought ever back in 1998 GMC Yukon, with 335’000km. This one I can’t destroy either 😅.

I still own my S85 E60 and wouldn't part with it ever. I agree with most of what you said like being patient to learn how to manually shift an SMG properly, but dude, the same goes for auto-mode too... that is also a skill that comes with time. But TBO I switched off listening as soon as you divulged you were only posting this video to sell the car - then it became like all the other annoying ads on YT. No thumbs-up from me sorry :-\

Ive had mine purchased 4 years back at 162,000 miles from Swiderski Auto up in Buffalo for 10k. The car essentially had new tires and brakes but zero maintenance done up under the hood. At a fuel up after purchase I noticed the front of the engine literally spilling out oil. I needed timing chain cover gaskets, valve cover gaskets, oil filter housing gasket, rear SAM module but do water intrusion from taillights (keys wouldnt unlock doors and battery was discharging), and I had water intrusion through the grillslits in the hood which would spill onto the coils and kick out my Main ECU. I would say the most costly things were water related so I now keep her covered with a nice waterproof cover even though Ive fixed the intrusion issues. The Airpump just went out for the suspension that was a DIY for $140 so really not bad. Even if I have $5,000 in repairs for a total of $15,000, putting on another 10,000 miles. Its been actually treating me pretty well and is my go to winter vehicle with hitch and rear DVD options; its very adept. Starts every time, although with a rattle when cold because I believe the timing chain guides up front are loose. Im living with that may fix soon. I Love The over- engineering of the Truck and I have been learning and fixing alot of systems myself. I have an 07 Navigator L that I compare it to with more miles at 240,000 but same year truck. That engine never needed a single gasket at 240k miles just regular oil changes every 5k however, The Navigator has body rust eating away by the driver and rear passenger entry, power steering is gone, shocks are also down in the rear(just put in a new pump and thats not it likely ride height sensor). Also the transmission is going, overdrive gone but what can be expected at 240,000 miles. Build quality wise the German 2007 truck is hands down a winner with ZERO Rust Anywhere and no catastrophic issues. Lots of Little engine leaks sure, but a DAMN Good, Solid, Extremely Over Built, Extremely Fast, Daily SUV. The ML63 is worth about $12,000 currently and the Navigator about $4k in its current state. Navigator cost me $14,000 at 130,000 miles and Ive used it way more sure, only a few small repairs here and there. But Ive Lost $10,000 in Value in that truck where in the Mercedes, even with all the repairs, Ive only lost about $3,000 in value. Both really are great trucks, I appreciate the heck out of the engineering on both sides. But at some point the Navigator becomes a beater thats not worth investing into, while The Benz remains a Benz.

It's a bit easier for you guys in the states when it comes to "pumping gas" over here in UK (Feb 2021) we're currently paying £1.20 per litre (approx $1.66... for a litre..) From a 9 year owner. Good review! I’ve had normal wear and nothing else since I bought mine in 2011 w/ 40k mi. Now it’s 110k mi and I’ve had one throttle actuator 700$ , voltage regulator 55$, clutch slave position sensor 400$ headlight module 80$, ac compressor pulley 400$ and one failed ignition coil 55$. Everything else has been normal maintenance. The most expensive being a clutch @ 2000$. These were all parts figures as I’ve done my own maintenance. Not hard but hey as a certified aviation mechanic I can turn a wrench.

Used to have one; killed me with limp-mode crap! To be honest, I’ve never owned a car that broke down as much as my E60 M5! Had it for couple years, changed: both actuators, intake air sensors, fuel pump, fucking clutch that cost me an arm and a leg! Finally I crashed it and wrote it off!!

I own a 08 e60 m5 smg, I’m in yr 4 of ownership and love it. Yes this car is a love/hate relationship, like you said when it’s running right smiles all day. Now when something breaks that’s when the hate comes in. It’s true you have to pay to play with a machine like this, so far the car gods have smiled down on me. Overall maintenance cost in the 3+ yrs is around 3k if you include labor. Some stuff was needed, otherwise I did it to get it out of the way.

Reason I bought a Yamaha YXZ SS. I typically don't drive under 7k rpms and usually shift anywhere from 9-10.5k rpms. Rev's like a street bike, handles like a sports car and absorbs bumps and hits like a Cadillac. Reliable and is made to take a beating every time it's driven.

"I don't understand how this car has a bad reputation. Yeah the bearings tend go out on these but it only costs $3000. This car will not break down if the owner constantly keeps making repairs so it is the owners fault not the car! Plus, this car eats more gas than a V8 truck so if you drive more than $200 of fuel every month its not the car's fault its the drivers fault! And the costs of parts is more than the value of the car, but it's the driving experience that matters!" - BMW E60 M5 Fallacy
