Thank you for sharing this anthro bird drawing tutorial, as I'm currently working on a Blakiston's Fish Owl character, based on one of my staff, Hannah the Female Ultimate (in that very form), as her motif is very much heavily inspired by the Dogū of the Jōmon Period (think Claydol from Pokémon), as she'd be pretty huge (interesting fact, female owls are slightly larger than their male counterparts), as she'd resemble a mud owl, with characteristics of a spinning top, upscaled figurine of statue-sized proportions, having telekinesis (float mostly), and have large wings that double as psycho mud turrets.

My biggest problem is shaping the eyelids. I can never tell when to put gaps and when to fill in lines, or how long should the top and lower lids be. Especially when doing emotional eyes.

Something I am wondering is how to draw eyes looking at different direction like when a character looks left without moving anything do you move the whole eye or just the pupil?

Trust me what she said keep practicing I can only draw the upper body head,eyes,hair,nose,ears, But I can't make a body,legs and proper arms that connect to the body but I keep training and I think I'll get it soon one thing I know is DO NOT MAKE YOURE BODY POINTY NEAR THE ARMS I swear it sucks but who am I to say I'm just a starter

I think this is good for beginners but not for intermediate artists since you don't show HOW to draw thise different hair textures and how to paint. You just said what to do but didn't show how. Your artstyle is beautiful though!
@xo3115Ай бұрын
The true masochists typically paint the texture themselves and the work smarter not harder ones use premade brushes (ex: a brush that spits out already made braids, curls, etc.) if you wanna go for a more manual approach then u hug texture brushes for dear life and go thru the library to get a feel for the exact texture you want for the hair. If u need help starting off then I do believe speed paints can really set you up into properly seeing how it’s done but it’ll take time for u to register the method

I see you only have 3 videos on your channel. I will give a few video ideas based on what I want to learn…. 1. Can you make a video on body types and styles? 2. Hair? 3. Facial expressions? 4. Lips? 5. Nose? 6. Feet?

Good tutorial. It's very helpful. Something is missing and I want to add a little tip when drawing the palm part, consider the way hands are often slightly bend into an arc. Hands consist of even several arcs. Done right the fingers should be approximately the same length but following the palm arcs.

Why thank you! I've been learning to draw humans, (as opposed to my animal art skills) and hands... Well, they're hands. T_T I've used some of these tips before, but knowing ALLLLLLL of them is so helpful. Humans, HERE I COME >:D (/^v^/)
