Not convinced by the statement that the Smithsonian is the most respected natural history museum in the world. Do they not have a reputation for withholding numerous artefacts from public scrutiny over the decades?

The last time i was in a zoo was in the Dominican Republic. Went to see the white tiger. There it was in it's pen, could be seen through what had to be re-inforced glass. It looked round and saw me standing there, it ran and jumped at me as if there was no glass. It battered it's big hungry face on the glass and collapsed in a heap. That taught the big greedy git!

I can’t imagine living in a world absent of these wonderful creatures….or even wanting to. Habitat loss and animal extinction to support our escalating “needs” is a “no win scenario” for humankind.

Looks like a young lady achieving her mark in the world of photography. Good for her! I'm just trying to figure out how she was able to obtain that 600mm /4 lens at such a early stage. This isn't your average price of a lens (which usually rings in around $12,000.00) sometimes challenging to obtain for the well seasoned professional.

This video really does NOT deserve being called: "The Best of the Best". There are by FAR more beautiful and truly EXTRAORDINARY moments frozen in photos, that are by far more INSPIRING or FUNNY, or EDUCATIONAL, or a mix of all. Do not need to go to Africa, Amazonas or Antarctica for to get EXTRAORDINARY photos. What you NEED is CLEAR AWARENESS, SENSITIVE HEART and of course, a camera.
