Total newbie here. Very interested in exactly learning how to split stil design, but this video is going so fast it makes my head spin. I am not understanding why you need to make copies of the things you want to split and so many copies of this and that and group them with the holes you want to make - I’ll try to watch it a few more times but it all goes too fast for me - at this stage at least.
@muteFPV20 күн бұрын
I am sure you will get the hang of it, the reason for creating copies is to keep both portions of the object but separated from each other. For example if you take a 3D model of a coffee mug and want to split the handle from the cup, you need one copy of the model to keep the handle and one copy to keep the cup. If you don't want to subtract a portion of the object and not split it in parts, you don't create a copy. I hope this helped.

Should be the more or less the same. What is troubling you, maybe I can help.
@jorgenunez5669Ай бұрын
@@muteFPV so for the 16s MK 2 the S1 and S2 pots don’t just come out once unscrewed like in your video, the enclosure has some tabs that keep the pots in place. I was worried about damaging them, but I found the knobs pull off just like you showed. I was worried about damaging them! Only difference is it’s a bit tougher to get a decent grip on the MK 2 version to pull the knobs off. It would’ve been nicer to just be able to pull the board out with knobs and all and have a better grip on the knobs and pots

Thanks for this test. As I suspected, those batteries have meaningless discharge ratings, i.e. they are blatantly lying with them. For a 450 mAh battery, a 80C discharge rating is 36 amps, and in your test at just 14 A the battery voltage plummets and you can barely discharge a tiny fraction of its capacity; thus, just the 80C rating is a joke. By the way, your discharge cut-off is very high; you can cut-off way lower (at 2.5 V and even less), particularly at the highest discharge ratings: the battery voltage recovers nicely and the batteries are fine.

Is it possible to change every cam tilt? I'm a noob, sorry.. Very nice video!! Is the betaflight crosshair actually "centered"?
@muteFPV2 ай бұрын
It depends on the frame and camera mount, usually it can be adjusted! The crosshair is centered but you can always verify by drawing an X on a transparent sheet if you have an fpv monitor.

How does the braid protect the wires? Seems like the mesh is better because it would provide at least a little protection. The braid seems like a good idea if you want to move the motors to a bigger build where longer wires might be required.
@muteFPV3 ай бұрын
None of these can protect the motor wires from a prop strike or a branch. Maybe the mesh just a tiny little bit, but you will be better off using a plastic channel or a blade from an old prop on top of the wires. PCB wire extenders are a good option as well, especially if you intend to put LEDs on the arms anyway.

This video is excellent. I've never seen any youtube video do such an indepth comparison of these connector types. Unlike most youtubers, you actually took the time to lock down all variables that would influence your conclusions (wire gauge, length, power source, etc). I've been using solid PH 2.0 connectors on my 65mm tinywhoops for years and when I switched to BT 2.0 I didn't notice any increase in flight time. This video clearly shows why. I wish I'd seen this before I switched.

Is it possible to change the color of the lighting kit ?
@muteFPV5 ай бұрын
Hello! I haven't looked recently but there were no multi-color-LED options last time I checked. If you need a specific color that is not available (when I made the video I think they had blue and white only), you would have to desolder the stock LEDs and solder your own, which will be a very tedious task.

They were intended for 3" and 4" but it depends on so many things (number of blades, pitch, tune, overall build weight etc). Did you get them brand new?
