Warning: Advent Urgent Care Patient between 2020 & 2024? PLEASE READ THIS: In 2024, I was REQUIRED by Advent Urgent Care to provide a Release for my ENTIRE medical history or I would be refused treatment! All of us expect to sign a Consent for Treatment form at the time of visit. We don’t to expose our entire medical history for a simple rash! Unaware my insurance had other Urgent Care options, I signed the broad Release under duress after Staff refused to contact a superior or an On Call Administrator. The Nurse explained this policy had been in place, “…since Covid.” I spoke with TWO alleged “Regional supervisors who dismissed my concerns. None would provide a contact with Advent Risk Mgt. After WEEKS of attempting to reach a Sr person in Risk Mgt, I finally spoke with a wonderfully honest staff member, who apologized and explained I had encountered a “..training error.” Although I was offered a letter acknowledging the error, I also requested an investigation/inquiry be made as to the extent of the alleged, “training error,” as two Regional spvsrs contradicted what I was now being told. I suggested a letter to affected patients might simply explain that a previous policy had been rescinded, and any patients wishing to do so, could, if desired, have their broader exposure on Advent’s data base, removed. This has been refused. NOTE: I never alleged Advent had done anything “illegal.” However, Advent describes itself on being a, “Christian,“… “Faith-based” corporation. As such, I expected Advent to do the Christian thing and correct what was either a “training” or, “intentional” policy. My SINGULAR argument was that a REQUIREMENT for a patient’s FULL MEDICAL HISTORY for an Urgent Care visit seemed intrusive and exposed sensitive patient information to unnecessary hacking risks, or worse. COINCIDENTALLY, United Health was a victim of a major cyber attack and millions of their patients personal information exposed (New York Times May 1, 2024 “Senators Slam UnitedHealth over Cyberattack). ADVENT MEDICAL HAS BEEN REQUIRING PATIENTS AT FL URGENT CARE TO MAKE THEIR ENTIRE MEDICAL HISTORY AVAILABLE, AS A CONDITION TO BE TREATED. CAUGHT THEM AND HAVE BEEN MET WITH RESISTANCE BY THEIR MEDIA AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF, IN MY EFFORT TO HAVE AN APOLOGY AND CORRECTION FIR ALL PATIENTS AFFECTED BY THIS REQUIREMENT, THAT I WAS TOLD WAS INITIATED DURING COVID!! Front desk woman name Morgan Southwell from imaging venter was terrible. She gave wrong information saying she needs revised version of doctor's order while I did not need it. She never apologized but kept saying she is right even after figured out by calling the radiologist that I do not need revised order and Morgan Southwell had been such a non sense. The other front desk woman name Si'Nita was kind, but Morgan was truly terrible.

That they attorney the patient hires is as uncaring and incompetent as they are.
