Thank you for the good explanation of this activity! Sir i think they made this activity this much complex maybe just to simulate real life network complexity, other than that i don't see any point to mess up with the labels.

One question . with one sub-interface how many vlans we can create? you mentioned 3 . Thank you professor Munshi for your clear and very easy understanding of teaching way.
@professormunshi52474 жыл бұрын
Parwez, you can connect only ONE VLAN to each sub-interface. Therefore, if you have 5 VLANs and you want to connect them to the router's G0/1 interface, then you need to create 5 sub-interfaces with G0/1. They can be like G0/1.10, G0/1.20, G0/1.30, G0/1.40 and G0/1.50 (if your VLAN IDs are 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50). Then assign 1 VLAN on each of this sub-interface. Then assign appropriate IP address and subnet mask to each sub-interface. We'll have labs where we'll be doing hands-on.

The first 7 minutes of my video was not showing the instruction screen. Here's what you need to do: 1) Open the slide 1.1.2.9 2) Click and open the packet tracer file (pka) 3) Click and open the instruction file (pdf) Then follow my video from 7 minutes onward. Email me if you still need help.
