It has been 7yrs not one MMA/BJJ show a faster, stronger and safer Arm Bar than MSAL - only trash talk

Wow! So simply and elegantly presented, I am so impressed. I especially liked your short and concise exposure of the basic problem with the classic MMA/BJJ guard. How come we don't hear more about this? MMA/BJJ is completely over-hyped and everyone seems to gladly jump on the bandwagon!

i know man! the number of meatheads ive made this citicism to whos egos cannot possibly comprehend common sense is astonishing, ive found them more prevalent in bjj/mma than any other style ive encountered. bjj as a simple matter of fact is inherently weak against the use of striking vital points, the analysis of the full guard exposing the one vital point that even untrained young children are aware of just shows how disconnected many of these fanboys are with their perception of fighting, its completely devoid of common sense. competition is one thing, art is another, but self defence is something else. the looks on their faces when they roll against a genuine full time kung fu fighter and get completely picked apart on the fundamentals of their style is just fantastic, bloated egos lead to underestimation. ground fighting has its merits and their armbar can do the trick and work, failing to have any method for fighting on the ground will kean you lose. unfortunately i meet many bjj/mma guys who are omnipotent martial arts masters and have de facto 10th dan black belts in every martial art going because they wear the magical blue belt giving them the knowledge of gods. just because they werent training hard enough in kung fu to move beyond the striking to grappling doesnt mean that grappling doesnt exist in kung fu, it just means that no one thought they were good enough to bother teaching the full scope of the style (it takes a lot of hard work, and a lot of time). they just think that their style is gods gift to martial arts, they dont live in reality. if you want to pass criticism and expect people to listen to you then you must be prepared to acknowledge criticisms yourself.

i dont think we hear more about this because 'common sense' isnt as common as its name implies.
