You have such solid delivery man, your voice and piano playing bring full circle the emotional message of the song that the lyrics themselves (despite being perfect) can't quite capture on their own. With due respect to Gilbert, I'd say this is one of the rare covers I like better than the original. Well done!

The key changes in this song convey "sad" far better than most sad songs I've heard. More so than sad, betrayed: it literally feels like a punch in the chest from a person you trust. The raw, frank vocal choices are the cherry on top. Stunning cover.
