Look up Shawna from the Untouchables documentary, a compelling story. Regardless of opinions, one should strive to see both sides of an issue. I agree with your bias, but you're not going to find a fair and accurate representation of ALL registered persons by conducting an impromptu interview with men that probably haven't kept up with their therapy in years. While yes there is a small spectrum of predators that don't change, the reality is that many people on the registry do. Look up the facts from the Florida Action Committee, NARSOL, and the Untouchable documentary. Sadly the registry hasen't prevented a single offense, most offenders are people close to their victims usually a family member. Instead of obsessing over the boogy man narrative the media portrays, focus on the facts and science behind people that end up that way. There needs to be greater focus and advocacy for education, prevention and protection of victims, rather than wasting our time and taxes on a system that does not protect anyone. No this is not defending anyone who's committed these crime, but rather an attempt to share full facts to protect everyone. **This is my third post, sharing helpful information that can better protect children and all citizens.. if you're deleting this again, I respectfully conclude that you're only interested in shaming/ trolling and not finding a true solution to the problem.*

No one has deleted your comments, KZbin auto mods comment sections and will delete a lot of stuff including our own responses in this comment section. I think we can look at states like Louisiana and Tennessee to see a great new way forward when dealing with convicted predators of children.

@JustLifeTravels oh thanks for clarifying! Sorry to assume that. And yes they have aggressive laws like forced vesectomies. I agree with the science behind castration.. but it should be chemical and reversible, just in case they've been wrongfully convicted. But again that's addressing the issue after it's happen. Senator Lauren Books from Florida has a great educational campaign on the subject. Though her bills are rough, and she was a victim herself she's doing an amazing job at educating children and families. Unlike her father, who lobbies for unconstitutional registry laws, she actually talks to these offenders and learns to understand them in order to inform the public. Preventing these issues when people are young as well as holding people accountable.

This place is an hour from me, which is horrifying enough. I feel sorry for the sugarcane workers that aren't predators and aren't sick in the head. The sugarcane workers deserve to live and work in an area where their safety and the safety of their families is guaranteed. I don't feel sorry for the predators and never will. The sugarcane workers get unfairly punished by having to live in those conditions. The sugarcane workers and the church deserve better and the predators deserve worse.

Not to defend anyone, but here's a suggestion. Pick a registered person who's changed, educated themselves, and now lives a healthy remorseful life and understands the harm they've caused nor minimizes their crimes. Find people that aren't looking for a pass on life, but an opportunity to make a LIVING amends with society and their victims by being the healthiest individuals they can be. Interview that person.

Oh those poor people having to live like that I understand if they did rape or molestation. But most are in for having consensual sex they shouldn’t have to be regulated they need to be free because they are they are out of prison . Do not understand Americas policy on this it’s wired and draconian and hurts the people that they supposedly care about the minors . A lot minors have been from I’ve read been charged with and labeled a SO for little things and. Having their lives ruined ah those poor people, may the sex offenders be given their rights back and dignity. U guys need to get a sex offender registry similar to Australia where I am where they assessed by crimes and dangerous ones monitored and the lighter ones have rights and dignity and allowed to travel and live anywhere.

2:08 nice love how ya just blow past that little bit of information there 😂😂😂😂😂 right yes tell me more of this magical place. Mmm slaves you say? And where are their descendants? Were they ever reunited with their American families? Did they receive reparations from their slave masters?? I have a lot of questions buddy
@JustLifeTravels5 күн бұрын
Slavery continued for a time in Brazil and several decades later it came to an end, when it ended Brazil had a massive slave population that was now free far larger than any other country in history. A lot of the former slaves would establish communities on the outskirts of cities which would develop into the favelas of the modern day. They will have by now fully integrated into Afro Brazilian and pardo culture.
@JustLifeTravels5 күн бұрын
Race mixing is extremely common in Brazil today so during the honoring of the confederate settlers you will see many black looking people who may even be partially related to the slaves and the masters of the original community but I can’t say a specific person that I know for sure that is true for.

Free Palestine from the river to the sea. Stop Génocide Gaza. Stop Apartheid .
