I wore the pants off Larry's tape when I was a kid, this song and shopping list. Listening to the Prodigal son story at church made me think of it and thank you for allowing me to relieve my childhood. Truly!

Oh wow, this was my solo when my youth group did this in the 70's. I was just told about this video, and there were only a few words I forgot. I've sung this throughout my life. It had a big impact on me.

I received this album on cassette when I graduated high school in 1982....one of my favorites for many years, into college and after. Lost it at some point and sought it decades later. So glad you shared this!!

The only thing I want is to be with Jesus! Maalala ko pa, aka nagpauso nito noon sa Baguio outreach. Maliit pa noon ang Gawain at kunti pa lang kami, lagi ko itong inaalay tuwing overnight, glory to God…it”s so good to remember...

Anyone know if the guy named Doug Savant who talks with Tom on this song is the same one who was on Melrose Place & Desperate Housewives much later?

At work, praising the Lord I wanna say I’m grateful for my mother. Thank you for all the lessons that you taught me and most of all teaching me about God . Mother, I’m so thankful and I’m a honor you forever and most of all heavenly father thank you for giving me eternal life. Amen.

This album was very formative to my faith. Came out in 1995, when I was 15, and was beginning to make my faith my own. Some of the lyrics in it really made me think about God in deeper ways. I'm thankful to Glad for this and other albums.

I wonder if PTL owns the rights to the music? I think Jim Bakker still owns what is left of PTL. I remember him saying that this album was done for a charity, or something like that. Tami Sue did not receive any royalties. This album is really really good. Holding it against other contemporary Christian albums of the time, it is really good.
