You know some people have to have music/tv in the background. I’m that way , it really helps keeps me focused … it hilarious that it is Ozzy Osborne in the background, thanks again for this video ❤

Ahhhh, so leaving the 1/4 inch at the tip is to allow you to make a straight line…cool beans!

Wow! No one else shows trimming the uneven bits! Yes! I needed to see an actual Native make this Star! By the way, you had me remembering my deceased mom with the television show about mummies…laughing, she loved that crazy stuff! So, hello from my mom who was from the Makah and Siletz tribes on the coast of Washington and Oregon!

Thanks for showing how to measure the background from inner angle of diamond junction to the tip, plus a little and then cut a square that size. Also, how to align the background piece at a 90 degree angle, flip other diamond piece to the center to get it out of the way and trim the BACKGROUND fabric, if necessary. No other video shows this. Most avoid the background assembly all together! My backgrounds were always when the train went off the track!

Love the pinning tip of starting partially down the strip and working the way out. I will also be trying to feel for the trangle at the seams. Interesting about using the hand wheel for the first 4 or 5 stitches. This may help me at the end of stitching where I seem to always to go off track.

Thanks for showing us your talent! I love the flip up of the corner to adapt to limited mat space! I also appreciate that you lay out your stacks in order, right in front of you, to help track assembly. I applaud your ability to iron, fold and cut the yard of fabric in layers that produce even strips. I am working on 3 x 3 stars. I am just finishing up my 4th and 5th and continuing to make the same mistakes. The background sounds just assured me I was watching someone who ACTUALLY makes Native American Star Blankets, not a professional video maker, who just edits out the hard parts!
