Seven years ago, SD cards were a great idea. What do these things ship with in late December 2024, I wonder? As almost no devices today have full-sized SD card readers. Hopefully, they switched to a USB stick. Moving on, you admit you don't have 4 monitors or TVs with SDI inputs? Really? Don't worry though.... as probably no one on Planet Earth has got four of them laying about, either. Moving on, I got to the point of "Blackmagic Devices have no power switches on them." Is that so? What the heck is the greenish-blueish colored botton all the way on the right of its front panel then? Could have fooled me. Finally, the "clever conversion" you did from 60 to 25 frames while keeping the same pixel resolution intact is worth about a $10 device. Not a USD $1,695 device. Thanks, anyhow.

Hi Michael, this video is highly educational. You explained so good that nobody would need to see it twice. I have one question which is a little out of this conversation. I want to know if using the camera extended battery pack helps in improving the focussing speed of the larger telephoto lenses? Will be waiting to hear from you. Thank you!

You, like me, are confused with glasses. This is perhaps the most difficult thing about tilt-shift. Sometimes I put glasses on the lens.

Can you use it to upscale SD to 1080p... or 1080p to 4k ? It's possible to convert 24p content to 50/60p ?

The first was connecting the blackmagic design software to the micbook air. Once again installed on another window laptop and connected. Then the first laptop (mickbook air) was disconnected. What to do to connect again.

Im in the process of saving up for one of these! I do wish that it could shoot 12fps through the ovf! this will be a massive upgrade from my old D5100 for aviation

1. Tilting the lens bends nothing. 2. Large format cameras are in production today, both by new start-ups and premium companies such as Arca Swiss, Cambo and Linhof. Linhof in fact produce no fewer than five different 4x5 cameras. You are mouthing off with misinformation. 👎

It is a great loss for we camera geeks. I visited Michael's at least twice a year, whenever I was working in Melbourne. And seeing the announcement today that the Melbourne Museum was not interested in receiving the donation of Michael''s unique camera collection (literally world ranked) is simply incomprehensible.
