The longer I live, the more I realize everything is bs. The story of Billy the Kid and the Regulators is a story I want to hang on to. I don’t want to know what truly happened to Billy. I want to believe him and Pat Garrett shook hands as Pals and Billy came back as Brushy Bill Roberts and appealed to the Gov. of New Mexico for his promised pardon.

He was actually very young and boyish looking - not like an outlaw. He was always smiling, kind to everyone that was not an enemy. He was known to ride out in the middle of the night to get medicine for the sick, and was generous. Facinating.
