when I used quadratic formula I was able to get down to x = 6+ or - 6 all over 6, how in the world did I get this? that would mean my zeros are 0=(x+0)(x+1)(x+2/3)

Does the ranking go against everyone who took it that year, day, month? What is the time range? Also, is it everyone in your county, state, country?

Your ranking for score is strictly that test date. You could actually get the same number of questions correct on a different test date and get a different score based on new ranking.

I’ve been trying to figure out how I got the scores I have. According to the chart, if I got 36 questions right on reading I should get a 31 in that section. But I actually got a 34! I’m super thankful but a little confused because none of the scoring charts I’ve seen line up with what I actually got

It is a good question. Every ACT test date has a different scoring guide specific to that test date. You are being ranked against everybody that took that test. Many of the scoring guides are very close and some can be different. Congrats on the 34 on Reading! Well done.

This is because the score reports for each test date change. The report in the video was for that specific test date.

@@TheExtraPointACTPrep There is a test for admissions to selective high schools called the SSAT! I think it stands for Secondary Schools Admission Test. If you think of schools like Phillips Exeter, Andover, etc., all of those students there took the SSAT!

y = f(x) is probably the biggest issue I see students struggle with. Remember it is just a different way to name the function. You are NOT solving for f!

T-charts are the greatest bailout in math. If you forget how to graph a certain function type just use a t-chart to determine your points on the graph.
