The scene where Will’s leaning on Bryn’s shoulder and she’s telling him “you don’t need to worry about anything, I’ve got you” really accurately depicts the way even the thought of them brings you this sort of comfort in tough times, even though they’re gone. That was so painful to watch but also the most intimate and powerful moment to me. Seemed intentional and it was well done. I broke up with someone about 2 months ago. There was care in the relationship, but he didn’t really love me.. the thought of him never brought me comfort after the breakup. I do not relate to this video at all, but I really appreciate how it was made because I understand it perfectly, even without having experienced it. Very well done

thanks for sharing your reaction - it's complicated for sure when you end a relationship. The short is all about how hard it can be to let go. "I understand it perfectly even without having experienced it" 🙏🏼

As someone who’s wanted to make movies since high school, this is incredible. The acting, the shots, the pacing is seriously impressive for a short film. I’m so glad this randomly took off.

What a beautifully tragic way to encapsulate what it feels like to be in love with someone you’re no longer with. A month ago I ended a relationship I was in and it was the last thing I wanted to do, but sometimes it’s not meant to be. And still nearly a month later I feel haunted constantly by my mind trying to hold onto her like Will holds onto Bren. It’s such a sad state to be in- but this film shows he can get over her and he will in time and it was such a beautiful reminder that life goes on and you have to “Will” yourself to persevere forward and allow yourself to live. That is how the wounds heal.

Glad this film was something you could relate too - bittersweet as that may be. I appreciate your words. Nice pun too.

I have to leave a comment because I've stumbled upon something great. The writing was amazing. The acting was amazing. The cinematography, pacing, editing, everything, was, you guessed it, amazing. I am in a bit of disbelief and this gives me courage as a writer myself that you can tell a great story with a simplified idea and the fundamentals in mind. Beautiful work.
