Me gusta mucho. What is the model number for the guitar you are playing, and where was it made? Thanks.

Tuning is correct for Vadim's guitar, but incorrect for Aleksandr's, who is using the old gypsy "minor" tuning: D-A#-G-D-A#-G-D

lived in Melbourne for two years and was at this race. Walking distance from Port Melbourne, used to drive my kids to school on these roads until they closed for the race. Noise of the V10 was epic.

What bracing and soundboard thickness did you use for your guitar? I assume it's Engelmann Spruce. How large of a dome is in the soundboard? Sounds amazing, very alive!

As a steel string player, I actually prefer the first one. The trebles seem to be brighter and stay longer.

Congratulations on building such a fine guitar- and very fine playing too- To my ears its sound is very well balanced and beautiful. The huge difference in prices between the two instruments shows how ludicrous things are today. Basically, the Romanillos is not just an instrument but a prestigious label/brand with huge invstment value attached to it. But to listen to, I found that yours had a more memorable sound than the Romanillos. I don't know how easy it is to play though, one would have to try for oneself. My only gripe in this video is that neither guitar had been tuned accurately. Bur really well done. Keep building guitars!

this guitar was very young in this recording, it has more depth now, and is sweeter, better vibrato etc.

To be fair, the first two guitars are aged roughly over 30 years, and the last guitar is a newer model that hasn't built that same amount of resonance. I'm very tempted to pick up a J. Marcario to practice Flamenco on (I have a classical Vicente Sanchis and don't feel like smacking it up). Would you recommend it to a somewhat student for Flamenco?
@kpcart7 жыл бұрын
they are ok if you want a bad flamenco guitar to start on - but I also don't like them because the guy selling them is a fraud, they are Chinese factory made (nothing wrong with that), but then this guy puts a fake label inside claiming they are French.

So keep building, my friend. Because you have a great talent in your hands. I am amazed at your work; An incredible sound and better than Romanillos. With more brightness and color in each note. Give me your e-mail so we can keep in touch and talk better. Bg hug!
answer my email please I would like to buy your guitar.

sry but esteve 12 doesn't have indian rosewood back and sides its pau ferro
@kpcart6 жыл бұрын
that's a shame, indian rosewood is a better timber with better tap tone, a lot of companies are switching now to pau ferro, as Indian Rosewood is on the CITES list. Even Fender are switching their indian rosewood fretboards to pau ferro.

The Romanillos is a little bit softer and rounder sounding, but I actually prefer the slight extra bite from yours. Outstanding result for a first time build - very well done.

Thanks. my guitar has developed since this video.. more depth, more thickness in tone. just keeps getting better as good spruce guitars do. after this I have build 4 flamencos and my second classical is complete in the next couple weeks.

Hi since you've gone thru all the guitars.......i mean you're the one playing these instruments.....you've got a feel of these guitars; I'd like to know which one do you favour most on an overall rating....ease of playability/overall tone quality & available tonal palette/projection .......appreciate your effort & comments; Cheers!
@kpcart7 жыл бұрын
2nd the best. 1st has a lovely unique sweet tone. last one the worst by far. first 2 easiest to play. second has most tone colour range. check out the guitar I built in other video, it is better than all of these.
