In regards to Tusk’s phallic name I would say it’s more likely a Mick Fleetwood choice, their second album Mr. Wonderful was one he intended to name “A Very Good Length” with a picture of a tower as the cover but someone in management said no lol

The Bob Welch concert in 81 where Stevie, Mick, Christine and John perform with him was at the Roxy on Sunset. They performed Gold Dust Woman and there is actually a video of it on KZbin!! I'll leave a link to the video in the comments!

Actually Stevie said that she wrote Leather and Lace for Waylon and Jessi but they decided that they didn't want to do the song so Stevie asked Don if he wanted to do the song with her.

Thank You for this time line video! Covered a ton of info I had no idea about. Being a relatively new fan since Chemtrails I've heard bits and pieces and you helped tie everything together. The one thing that surprised me the most was her anti Trump stance considering her "Americana" persona/ references. Funny thing is I heard Chemtrails over the CC and Money Power Glory as bumper music on InfoWars( not exactly a left leaning news/talk show - HA). Chemtrails blew me away, got the CD, rest was history. So she's got a lot of fans on both sides of the Political aisle whether she realizes it or not. Anyways saw her at Fenway Park (for the first time) this past Thursday, considering the weather mess/ rain delay etc it was an incredible show! We will definitely see LDR again next time she plays Boston/ New England area.

Kicking out Lyndsey before the last tour was just a plain wrong move. Even more wrong is that they performed the hit songs he wrote and nearly all of the others which he produced the bulk of. I hope he got royalties.

Love 😘 your dog 🐶 Arthur, 🤩😻💛🤍🕯️🕊️ which is a family 💖🙏💙💛 name, of a Missed, Departed family member. Received Stevie's first 🥇 Solo album on Christmas 🎄 🎁 day 1981, during the first year of HRH, Princess of Wales, Diana.💍 💒🌹 Both Stevie and Diana influenced me by their actions and Stevie's lyrics, in retrospect, a bad way. As a trained former clinical social worker, I believe, one or both of them were/are possibly borderline personality disordered. I will always admire parts of them, but I wish my role models would have been less dysfunctional; I fell hard for the poorly scripted Feminist narrative. "My bad." I realized the errors of this male-bashing narrative too late. Love, from yet another 🐈😺🐈😺🐈😺🐈 🩹Cat Lady.💖✌️🤩😻💛🙏💙😍👍

All of that haters gossip is dramatic and childish…the critics get off on drama. Also people Change with time, as well as with heartbreak, etc; And when she started preforming and put her first record, Lizzy Grant being her name, is who she was….yes she changed her name, which I personally love and think it sounds better for her music. And also, we don’t actually know if she always had different way of singing. Taylor went from country singer, to now…I’m a artist and I don’t draw one type of way….over the years, my art has changed, either cuz I was using drugs, hurt or heartbroken.

Speaking about the Lolita topic… I HAVE A LOT to say about it, since it could be that Lana really experienced a lot those things and romanticized it in her songs anyway, because your view is kind of disturbed when you are the victim. That could collide with her teacher Gene Campbell, because her unreleased song „Prom Song ( gone wrong )“ was written about him allegedly… I think the internet misinterpreted a lot of her „harsher“ Lolita references tho - and made it seem how they want… like their own thing.

Don't know anything about Lana, just got interested in one song and your video popped up in my feed. After listening to her life's arc, one thing that stands out to me as a novice bystander is that Lana seems to have gotten consistently bad PR advice all her life. She's doing everything right, but saying everything wrong.

the song “off the table” from the positions album is also probably about moving on and trying to find love after mac’s death. the first verse sounds like it’s directly addressed to him. “Will I ever love the same way again? Will I ever love somebody like the way I did you? Never thought you'd be so damn hard to replace I swear I don't mean to be this way If I can't have you, is love completely off the table?” another lyric that hits me hard on that track is “do i sit this one out and wait for the next life?” i truly cannot imagine how difficult it was for her to lose him. </3

The amount of petty and unfair criticism Lana del Rey had endured has been a disgrace, her past is not really our business so why did people constantly when she became famous drudge up some of her past problems or indiscretions let's say? And she wasn't saying anything bad about fellow artists who are women of colour, they just happened to be very successful women of colour who were not being criticised for some similar lyrics in their songs. Jeez one of the nicest individuals on the planet has suffered alot of hate in the last 12 years or so.

They decided to include the founding members of Fleetwood Mac plus the lineup with the greatest commercial success. Bob wasn't the only previous member who wasn't included, and Bob could have been nominated on his own for his solo career. Bob did leave the band in a difficult position because he quit in 1974 even though they had upcoming concerts booked in the US. Still, Fleetwood Mac did reach out to Bob Welch, appeared with him & produced him during the Rumours era to help him have hit solo songs such as a revised Sentimental Lady, and Ebony Eyes with Stevie Nicks. Please watch the 1978 Cal Jam 2 where Bob is joined by Stevie Nicks & Mick Fleetwood for "Ebony Eyes." Bob Welch & Friends from 1981 shows the support he was given by Fleetwood Mac years after he quit the band. There was a very nasty lawsuit over money that the band settled and it ended their relationship with him. He was very unhappy, and in alot of pain from back problems that eventually caused him to take his own life to end his suffering.

@LauraLeeJ well I did commet half way through. And I'll admit you actually had a lot of opinions about lana in the second half .Some I agree with some I don't. But I actually think you still have a good understanding of what she's doing with her music. Also you did get her life facts which is what matters. I definitely agree that lana is not good at defending herself online and totally stuck her foot in her mouth . However, I feel a little different about all the feelings of other cultures in her videos. I'm not black or Latina so like you said I can't speak if I'm offended. I am Native American and wasn't exactly hung up on the headdress. Her friend made her that headress. It's true most tribes don't wear them, and when they do it's the highest honor or a great battle. However, as a Native I personally wasn't offended. Anyway, I still enjoyed what you had to say, and I didn't feel like it was lana attack. like most videos on her.
