@@myrusticgardens no, anywhere from now to end of October is normal. I hate it but, maybe someday I’ll move to a bit warmer climate. Nothing better than shopping a sale! I enjoy your videos and think your property is lovely and your dogs are precious! While today was a bit better, is there any way for you to speak louder or maybe get a better microphone? Sometimes you are so soft spoken I just end up turning your videos off. Oh, the inexpressible joy of a plant sale and a van full of bargains! I’m living vicariously through you because there are very few nurseries close to me, and they seem to focus mostly on annuals. I enjoy watching you shop, but I really love watching you plant everything, and also hearing your thought process for placing the plants. You are encouraging me to look more critically at some of my beds, and think about why they aren’t working, and what is missing from them. Thanks Lacey!

Your garden is beautiful 😊. I see your arbor in the background. I was thinking of getting a similar one. How did you secure it? And did you set it directly on the ground or on some sort of paver to protect the wood? Thanks!
@myrusticgardens3 күн бұрын
@@amycorreia1079 Hi there! I have one in the back yard that did come with its own method of securing into the ground that worked great, but this cedar one in the front did not. We had to get creative. 🤭 We used rebar that was about 2 feet long and some round metal clamps (I don’t know the technical name for them 🥴) to attach the rebar to the arbor’s legs. It’s worked well! And no, nothing other than the stain to protect the wood for this one. ☺️
