Ben Simmons is the Picasso of basketball. Does trash but gets paid anyway
@LysergiCoyotlАй бұрын
Yaaa this is an idiotic comment if I ever saw one, at least you understand that Bum Simmons is trash who didn't live up to his talent but ... Picasso? There's zero analogy here. Picasso was and still is well regarded in his field as a genius, prolific (60,000+ works), an innovator, and a hero and major influence to many ... There is zero analogy here.

Lmao Devin Booker's logic makes no sense, especially when comparing to sports like Football/Soccer. If it is harder to win an NBA title than an Olympic medal or international FIBA competition, and that make NBA champions a "World Champion", why can we never call a UCL winner from European clubs the world champion given they are the best from the best continental league in the world. Why do we rather refer to them as the European club champion, rather than a World club champion? Are they not the best? I mean we know for sure they would be able to handle any African, Asian, South American, or MLS team out there, so why not categorize them to the World directly? These NBA Bums just don't get it at all. Majority of the sports not dominated by the US always refer to World champions in an international competition context, look at soccer, volleyball, track and field, cricket, etc. However, clubs you play for are limited to a certain portion of the world only competing. And by certain portion of the world, I'm referring to certain cities that host these clubs. Referring to players that they come from different countries across the world to come play in the NBA also does not define NBA equalling to the world. Yes, they come from different countries, however, in no such context in the NBA are they representing those different countries/cities they come from through a team aspect, they are instead playing for a local city that competes with other cities only in US/Canada. In my opinion, even if the NBA Champion were to compete with other teams located across the world (like in Euroleague, Asia, etc.), even then I would not categorize them as "World Champions". "World Club Champions" could work, but not simple "World Champions". In my honest opinion, to maintain consistency, "World Champions" should only be referred to in international competitions contexts only. USA can be a World Champion if the win the "FIBA World Championship". Spain could also be a World Champion. France, Canada, whoever else. Currently, in basketball, Germany is the reigning World Champion, just as Argentina is for football.

The female FIBA ref has less than 5 years of experience. I think she's from USA. Her position is at the back of the shooter therefore she doesn't have the appropriate angle to see and make the right call. Her close proximity to the players also makes it difficult for her to see the play develop from start to finish. Experience has taught us - let the players decide the game. Unless there was a very obvious foul, I'm simply just gonna let it go.

These NBA players have the brain of a squirrel, I wonder why. . It's wild how an African slave descendant like Gilbert can mock an original African with a rich, intact culture and vibrant identity. Does he even realize that these South Sudanese players are descendants of the originals, while he's from those taken and enslaved by whites for cheap labor? Ignorance is bliss, they say. Maybe it's time for Gilbert to learn some history and show some respect. #KnowYourRoots #RespectYourHeritage
