Yes, (unless it's a 1911 or similar) but you still need to keep it pointed in a safe direction with your finger off the trigger.

John hello. what about the just day light on. In normaly my bike has mini day light bulb. it is allways on when my bike is working. Mini 12v bulb. If i turn on low beam or high beam, it s still on(mini 12v bulb) i connected this 7 inch head light h4 everthing is perfect but just day time light is not working. 2 wires (yellow light and white light day time light) i connected white color option to my bike + but there is no - polar cable for day time light. I want in a day, just day time light on.

Instead of getting power from the low beam, cut and connect that wire to the wire for your daytime running lights

It's just an A2 with a foam pad from a tape dispenser grip haha It actually works great, and I still haven't changed it after all these years.
