Honestly I’d add Herobrine as a toggle on and off character. But for a large non Infinite world, and the condition of him activating being beating Minecraft. Make him like an optional final boss, like after beating the Ender dragon. Herobrine appears and starts to build, but on the opposite side of where you are. And every once in a while you can catch him peaking, curious as to what the player who beat the ender dragon is like. Once spotted he just dips, not like some ghost or something but generally just runs away. Maybe you can trail him, he can do everything you can, tame wolves and other mobs. Has his own home and civilization, and usually mirrors you in some ways. Making it a sort of you decide who Herobrine is in your world, if he’s your enemy who you constantly go to war with. By burning his village down he does the same to you, by killing him and looting him he does the same to you. If you leave him alone he’ll leave you alone, other ways it’d be cool too. Like if you seemingly take a liking to villagers, and build around them and nestle alongside them. Herobrine will do the same mirroring you, but for better or for worse. Even possibly down to where you build, if your a cave builder. And you build around underground, his will be similar. If you’re someone who loves building in mountains, guess where he’ll be. But the overall fun that could come from exploring a civilization in progress by Herobrine would be dope. Especially if they found a way to possibly even watch him work on something in progress, but that would be too much to ask 😅. The more options you have to interact with him would be dope, maybe some kinda of menu to decide whether you want a friend, a rival, an enemy, or a stranger who you never see but you know he’s around. Not in a creepy way, but in a Im not alone here and that’s refreshing type of way. Maybe even change when he spawns and activates, depending on which experience you want with him. If an enemy it would make sense it’s after the ender dragon. If friend maybe at the start, maybe in the middle or end. If rival it would have to be at the start. But overall let me know what y’all think, I know this for some people would ruin the mystery and intrigue of Herobrine. But not me.

Yes its definitely past its prime but thats with most games anyway. There’ll always be a decent amount of dedicated players so long as game is maintained well enough

If they ever WERE to add Herobrine, I think it would be best if they didn’t even announce it, and let the players find out themselves

My 3 best friends did not want to buy the game so i started to play solo than i found a group played every other day like 3 4 hours but after a month they just lost interest so only randoms left. I struggle to find lobbies always error or even if i get in they dont talk or just i get kick. But the reason that players leave the game its because there is nothing new zeekerss got a LOOT of money out of this game and he did not start a smaller company a group of 3 4 people or more to make updates or a more complex gameloop story etc... even if the game will eventually get a new update some of the players will come back but they will leave shortly because there will be not much to see some new enemy new scrap maybe new interior and thats it no new lore. And for those who say hes a solo dev cant expect him to do like a AAA company he got a loot of money just check it out 100$ million sure after tax and the 30% cut from steam its smaller but he had a choice to create a team but he porbably just invested and now he dosent really care.

The developer of lethal company has made an astounding amount of money to have still not released an update with any substance. Although I can totally understand taking time away from work for the holidays!

i think new interiors might not even be enough, a whole new game mechanic might be the only thing to keep the game alive
