That green sign saying Corydon Jct makes it feel like small town USA. About a year ago there was a photo I believe in Trains magazine of the LNAC steam powered local with the combined meaning of Southern passenger train at the wood Depot. Hope to make it down to that section of the state just to get a better feel for it someday.Nice video

Nothing like the old steamers. My grandfather was head wreckmaster on the PRR in the late 1800 to 1900,s. He retired after 43 years. My dad and uncle did as well. So I think we hit every working steamer that they have running in the US. Skunk, Durango to Silverton. Hello Dolly in Pennsylvania and everything in-between. Nothing like the sound of a true chug chug with that black smoke coming out of the stack. Sorry but Amtrak has nothing on a steamer. ❤❤
