I remember recording this from the radio and somehow getting a copy of the image and hand drawing the cover. Great days...

Remember seeing these at Blackpool beach when the Radio 1 roadside came. Was working at Pontins and had afternoon off to go.

Imagine my disappointment when watching terminator 2 when 10 years old and buying this thinking it was you could be mine by guns and roses, adding to it, I had no clue it was called you could be mine by guns n roses, no google , no phone, no I pad, no hey siri, no Spotify, no Shazam , nothing I could do to find this awesome song I heard in a film , until ages afterwards, I probably didn’t find out and buy use your illusion 2 for about a couple of years later

RIP Steve, played this in the car when I heard. It was always the Posse even when on Radio 2😎.

And on the B-side was the theme for "Environment News". Oldie but classic. RIP Steve,

This single had a B-side called "Environment News". Does anyone know if that was recorded just for the single? Or was it used elsewhere (e.g. Steve Wright's radio show)?

I remember hearing this back in the day. Also, I remember hearing Jim Bowen on Wright's afternoon show round about 1991 saying "Super, smashing, great. Look at what you could've won. Why is it always a speedboat?".

Brilliant song. I remember first hearing this in August 1991. It was in the charts at the same time as Oceanic Insanity. I’ll be back has a similar sound to Partners in Kriemhild Turtel Power the year before.

This goes along with the sketchs that were on Steve Wright's show. Arnee buying a record, or standing in an election. Always ending in him shooting the place up. Great stuff.

The actor portraying Tony the Yugoslav is now a Magistrate, he was appointed in 2018. He joined the BAR guild in 1986. How ironic. If you don't believe me, search for Costas Kilias on the list of Magistrates in Victoria.

My parents were both born in the former Yugoslavia, specifically in North Macedonia. With all my relos and their friends, there’s a few of them who speak exactly like Tony does, the distinct accent and F-bomb is dropped at the end of every sentence. It gets hard not to laugh sometimes 😂

Yeah, great band! Southside of Bombay played a gig at Porirua Hospital in the Recreation Hall around-about 1989-1990. I had been in exile after calling in sick. A major casualty - almost! That afternoon I was able to join the band onstage and play a song or two - I don't remember exactly how many - which gave me a wonderful feeling. I guess this was the moment that I began to make my way back to the music scene after well and truly almost NOT making it. COOL!
