Nice Vlog. May I ask how you first learned of the Allegheny? And do you have plans to tackle sections 3 & 4?
@appalachianwanderseeker5 күн бұрын
Sorry for the delay in answering. I live in West Virginia, so I’ve been aware of it for a long time and don’t remember how I first found out about. Possibly later this spring I will hike more of it.

How did you manage to send boxes to Glady? I thought the PO was closed.
@appalachianwanderseeker5 күн бұрын
My friend Steven drove the boxes up there and found a nice lady who lives by the church that held them for us. There is no real post office there, but there are some post office boxes in a little shed oddly enough. It’s pictured about 3:50 into this video.

Franconia Ridge had many day hikers. We are at the end of the ‘bubble’ so there aren’t a lot of thru hikers still on trail. There were only about 7 at our last camp.

Hope you're having an awesome day on the AT. We'll be filming a thru-hiker documentary near Abol Bridge/ Millinocket just before Mt. Katahdin in late September (roughly 19-22). Any chance you'll be summiting around then and would you be interested in being interviewed? Please let me know the best way I can reach you. 🙂
