One type of video niche I will always love here on KZbin are speedrun histories, and its so funny because so many of them are made by the eventual world record holder but they're never arrogant about it, just so passionate to share the history and it's always so entertaining, especially since I just love the concept of speedrunning anyway. Amazing job!

This type of speedruns are always why I love speedrunning. I am not really a speedrunner but I do have runs submitted nothing near the lowest time but I love doing weird and wacky runs. Especially when they are fairly sandboxy where there is not really a set strat and you have a lot of freedom with how you do the speedrun. This is just kinda with runs that are not super optimized but some of them just cannot be optimized down that far.

That music lines up so well in the 34 second run. Perfect.

They should've blued first place then let themselves be hit by the explosion. If you were to throw the blue shell 1.6 seconds away from first place it would save those 1.6 seconds.

I just wanted to say that while yes, distance from 1st *is* a factor in the items you get, your placement still limits the items you can get. For example, in a 12 player room, you can only get a shock or a bullet in 9th-12th place, and you can never get a green shell in those low spots
