Not 100% sure how it happened, but not too long ago a snowy owl was spotted here in Southern California (Cypress and surrounding areas). Some speculate it was by a cargo ship. Poor guy must’ve been hot. He was magnificent. Hopefully he made it back home.

Not in Jasper itself as it is illegal to remove anything from a National Park in Canada. However, outside of Jasper there are a few areas. I had looked at getting back into fossil hunting while I was living out there because of the geology of the area. Unfortunately, the government of Alberta maintains ownership of all fossils found in the Province so that didn't work out.

Glad you enjoyed it. There were actually several ravens however due to the wind the camera was just too bouncy then for good video.

Interesting there are multiple videos from different people featuring a snowy owl and a raven going back as far as 10 years. I wonder if it is them, and if they have been friends that long.
