Where did you get the clear block weight
@Elizabethcraftdesigns2 күн бұрын
This is a clear acrylic block often used for stamping. You can find them in most places that sell craft tools.

Hi Annette! I’m so sorry I couldn’t join your live today but I just watched it back here on KZbin. I adore all your cards and great techniques and such a variety of styles on each of them. I have some heat resistant acetate I need to try some embossing on after watching how cool your tag looks. You are correct, I had mentioned on a previous live about inking the actual die with a brayer and then die cutting it to bring out more definition to the embossed areas of the die itself. It does seem to work better for me using the TH archival inks (I think they are less oily or something) but I have tried Versafine too. Thanks for the inspiration you gave me with making such cute tags!

Thanks Belinda. I ordered some heat resistant acetate after reading your comment and I'll give that a go. Also, will try archival ink next time too. Thanks for the suggestions and for watching!

Lots of great ideas! LOVE how you inked the die before cutting to add the texture ❤
@AnnetteGreen3 күн бұрын
Thanks Kim! Belinda recommended in her comment to try archival ink, which I will definitely do. The Versafine inks may be a bit too juicy for that technique.

@ Well I’ll give it a try!

Thank you so much. I hope you DO give them a go. Helpful suggestions: use Archival ink when doing the technique on the first tag, and on the second tag it's best to find some heat resistant acetate. Mine wasn't and it got a little wavy. Thanks for watching!

I LOVE these tags Annette. Thank you for sharing. Do you not use heat resistant acetate? I’m just wondering because I never have and if it were then why does it still wrinkle? I was under the impression that it didn’t. Can you verify?
@AnnetteGreen3 күн бұрын
The brand I used is not labeled as heat resistant. I have, however, just ordered some from Amazon because I'm curious. Thanks for watching and I'm so happy you enjoyed the projects!
