What measurements and did you use 18mm plywood? Cheers

If you pause at 14:40 for example, you can see his knees cave in. Not sure why is that?

Seen that done before with a Caravelle and it does the job...and that's all that matters. You should take it on a proper long holiday now and really enjoy it. Camp out on the top of the Pyrenees, watch the sun come up.

Your voice is so chill and calming to listen to. Did you buy a topo book for El Chorro?

Hey Nathan, loved the vid! just wondering if you'd have a typed up plan you would be happy to share?

We have just bought a Renault Trafic and are going to copy your great idea. We have bought some 18mm ply, but it looks thicker than your ply. Is yours 12mm or is it an optical illusion? Maybe the white paint makes it look trimmer :) Thanks for the inspiration.

Great video man, I've spent so many seasons at the OB in the past and Chorro was where I learned to sport climb too! If you're ever in Kalymnos, let me know. It's next level for limestone cragging.

That is brilliant! I bought a 1996 SWB T4 Caravelle in January and have literally been planning the conversion tonight so this has given me an idea for a 'quick fix' (maybe) to get me through the rest of this brilliant Summer ! Thankyou so much ! Cheers dx

Awesome video Nathan! I was wondering around Brimham and the bloc Ripple Effect stood out to me immediately even though it wasn't in my guidebook - nice send! (Any tips on where to park so you don't have to pay the £10 a day parking 😅😅🤫🤫?)

Every once in awhile when I’m feeling stagnant with my channel, I come back and watch this video. Mostly to see if your pants were as cool as they are now (they are) but also just to stay hyped and remember what a great climbing video makes you feel like. Because this one, and all of them made me feel excited. Made me feel like I wanted to get out there. Made me feel like I could try new things even if they were hard or scary. So thank you, Nathan, for being you, exactly as you are.

I think I lost the paperwork long ago, sorry. I can try to get some measurements of the grip some time, have you checked to see if the Lattice website has measurements for their version?

picking up from this, what thickness ply did you use for this?, I was talking to my wife the other day and she said we just need a box with everything that folds out on the top, a quick search on the web and your video came up, exactly what we need to do, so simple yet perfect. thanks for putting online.

18mm van ply - which is a lightweight plywood, made from poplar I think.

@harrisondreamsofmantles3 жыл бұрын
Because its the first hit for Gardoms: Porblem names are a little mixed up - Hannah is doing First Roof Traverse, and Nathan is doing First Roof Left. First Roof Middle is a touch further right, direct through the roof on a crimp rail (finishing with a slightly gimmer mantle). Wishbone is going out far right eliminating the crimp rail from Middle with a really really grim mantle. Existing descriptions and info are pretty poor so lots of people do the same. Hope it helps someone trying to figure out what problems they're doing.

Why is it that regardless of the climb I look for its always either you or hannah top result. Going to take a look at this tonight

Just enough to shuffle along, but not much. It comes roughly to the end of the folded down front seats.
