They're pretty, but I think adding a brighter color throughout whatever you use them for will make them good backgrounds. I know you'll figure out something. I hope you're healed from your surgery soon, too.

I have the whale tail punch but this is clever! Was it Stamping up that made it?
@ExLibrisCrafts8 ай бұрын
Thanks! Yes the ‘original’ (?) Whale Tail punch is Stampin’ Up. Another viewer said it could be purchased through Temu. I have no experience with Temu so I can’t speak to its durability or functionality.

Hi, Karynjean! I'm sorry you had a Murphy's Law day. It happens to the best of us. I, too, have noticed that most of my viewers are non-subscribers, especially for my writing tutorials that I occasionally do. We just have to keep pushing on, doing our thing for our viewers (subscribers or not). I'll let my crafty-minded students know about your channel. I really enjoy watching your journal videos even when you're having off days. Thanks for sharing!

Hi Karynjean! Nice to see your craftroom and hear your ideas. I laughed when you said the "Niagara Falls" routine. That gets used at my house, too. I grew up in a Cape Cod and in my teen years the attic was my bedroom. It would have been nice to have an access door for behind the walls. My son lives there now and I might suggest that to him sometime. Thanks for sharing your great room.

Hi, Karynjean! Those holographic butterflies look very cool! I, too, have been saving those padded Amazon envelopes for future journal making. It's good to know that others are doing the same. Lol! I was thinking about getting an electric die-cutting/embossing machine just the other day and for the same reason:arthritic hands and wrists. I'm sure, too, that your electric machine will help alleviate any back/shoulder pain you're having. I'm praying for you; I hope your back and shoulder(s) feel better soon.

Thanks Tammi! I really like the Switch Plus. It is way smaller than the Gemini Pro and so much quieter. The only pro for me with the Pro is that it handles 12x12 paper. It is very heavy and very noisy.

I love scraps ❤❤❤ I use the smallest of scraps to punch out butterflies and I make into embellishments. Then I make them into paperclips and give them to everyone. I even paint over junk mail with mixed media.When I throw away some scraps I will still pull out them out and save them. I joke that I am saving the earth one scrap at a time.

I have so much to comment on. I am so glad that you raved your disability. I know it will take even longer to get social security disability. If you are thinking of moving near to your daughter, now is the time while you still are able to physically able. Or later you will need too much help. Start by decluttering so you won't have to pack stuff that you still won't use. I have a 10× 12 craftroom. If we ever move I plan on a bigger craftroom. I have IKEA plastic containers to put finished tags and ephemera in. I don't always finish decorating them. I only have one large shoebox container for scraps. Most of it is junk mail and white strips. I glue 2 pices together and stamp sentiments or images. Or I stamp in black and color them with sponge daubers. I also punch butterflies for embellishments and I make them into paperclips. I use more of my scraps on clusters. I put the clusters on hidden paperclips or I make them into cards. I was going crazy over your scraps. I would love to see how you make clusters ❤❤❤ Sorry for the LONG.... comment. I love your videos
@ExLibrisCrafts8 ай бұрын
Thanks Laura! I love this long comment. So many ideas! I’m glad you like my videos - warms the cockles of my heart. As to decluttering, I already have over 2 boxes that are being donated to the thrift store next week! It’s exciting - the thought of setting up and organizing in a new space. I will of course keep everyone here updated!!
@lauravasquez1698 ай бұрын
I donate to DAFI. The only problem is that you have to pay for shipping. I declutter by giving to friends with children who make cards. I get rid of books in a free library, thrift stores, and happy mail. Thank you for your comment back ❤

So many scraps...so little time. I work with scraps all the time. I don't think the corner rounder is made to use on fabric. It still works the way you used it by cutting the the bad part wuth scissors. You are doing great with your scraps ❤❤❤

Hi Karynjean. I really need to do something like this with my stencils and dies. I don't have many of either so they may be okay all in the same book. With your tabs I'm thinking if you open them and put double sided tape on them they could clamp on the edge of the page protector so they'll still stick out, but it wouldn't interfere with getting the contents in an out at all. I hope that makes sense. Thanks for sharing your ideas.

Funny... I was having a pedicure while watching your video. I love videos using scraps. I don't put collage boards in a book. I just use ugly 12 x 12 scrapbook paper. Most of my scraps are solid color cardstock. I have friends sent me scraps because I use everything. I use small size printed scraps to punch out butterflies. I layer a 2 sizes of butterflies with bling in the middle. I use them on lots of cards and paperclips and hidden paperclips. I also give them to other crafters in happy mail. And thank you for the Bunuelos... fried bread recipe. I took a photo on my phone. Thank you for this video ❤
