I'm still watching.. but how come so many perimenopausal and menopausal women have drastically improved their symptoms, some even eliminating them, when changing their diet to low carb that consists of a higher ratio of healthy fat? Healthy cholesterol is needed to produce hormones. Our literal brain needs this. Yes, it's not so much the sugar/higher carbs by themselves, but the combination of fat WITH the sugar that is so harmful. BUT, the healthy fats with a low glycemic diet doesn't have this harmful effect.. actually, for most it's the opposite and is very healing.. pardon the expression, but there's more than one way to skin a cat (I'm Southern 😆).. I'm referring to a healthy low carb diet.. not the trendy lc diet filled with processed meats, dairy, packaged crap containing synthetic ingredients, etc. Not everyone can handle the foods he often recommends, and can get sick from them.. but I also see so many that he has helped and can't be dismissive of that.. 🤔

Non-binary doesn't exist. It's an academic / social justice term to sound special. ALL humans are a spectrum of masculine and feminine. Therefor all humans are not "binary" as they put it. All the factors they rely on to define this "binary" are completely socially constructed and superficial. A man with lipstick on and a dress is just making fashion choices. It's really no more profound than that. Trying to make ALOK some super human with godly insight is ridiculous. He's just a fashion/art figure. David Bowie was this extreme and didn't feel the need to define his "performance". Everything about ALOK [including the single word, all caps name] is a performance. The amount of superficial "identity" is anything but "authentic". strip away the fashion and he's just a man. There is this obsession for people to feel unique and the "identity" obsession is the easiest way to do it. Find something about your personality and slap an academic term on it and you are instantly part of the rainbow. It's so narcissistic too. He speaks like a good religious/cult leader full of confidence and inspiring to people. But he's literally just a regular dude that is good at fashion. And what is wrong with that? Why the need to make up new terms like he's some alien that descended from gender heaven to illuminate us.

Great to have Layne on another podcast, however, the constant interruptions from the host are just so distracting.

I am 5'7" and I believe height has only been an issue once maybe twice. Another point of reference would be I am 47. I believe the average height of the women I have dated is 5'9". Ya I was diagnosed like 5 years ago. It is really a difficult journey and it still is even when your level becomes undetectable. I have side effects from my medication: Very vivid dreams, heartburn, depressed mood, low energy. It's ironic it's the very thing that keep you surviving at the same time. And people wouldn't really understand how it feels like even if you tell them. The disease does age me a lot too. Definitely not a nice thing to have.
