this is the final volvo that has actual new innovations and groundbreaking inventions, newer volvo just copy and pasted the previous things that works, and maybe added a few more gimmicks

I have bought a used 2017 version about a year ago. It still holds up really well. I love it more and more every time I drive it. Just this week I tried it on the Autobahn this week and I could easily go up to 200km/h and still felt like I could go faster and had control. Volvo FTW.

i found when the auto break system is activate, the rear brake light does not light up. it is very dangerous because the vehicle behind is not aware our vehicle is stopped. Volvo should update this. Give us update patch for this weak. Thanks. 🙏🏻

Still, the active cruise control of xc60 can detects the cars in front at any speed you drive and slow down the speed till a safe distance or braking completely. Furthermore it can also detect motorcycles and bicycles.

I bought one of the original 2008 XC60 dealer demonstrator vehicles (chassis number 723) and it is, by far, the best car purchase I ever made. I remember driving it home thinking it felt like a spaceship on wheels! Complete with lasers, radar, video cameras, flashing LEDs and gentle cockpit beeping noises. I still own it today. It's now 12 years old and has nearly 100K miles on the clock.... I still love it as much as when I first bought it and can't see me letting it go any time soon.

All cars use this system, including trucks and SUVs. A agreement was reached with auto manufacturers to place front bumpers 21 to 22 in above the ground, even if it's a "fake" valence.

I purchased a 2010 XC 60 in May 2012. It was acquired originally by a driver in mid 2019, so it was in use 3 years and apparently traded on a new one. The mileage on my 2012 was 35,103 when I purchased it. Now, 7 years later I have $ 105,212 miles on it and it is like new. I take good care of it and service regularly at Volvo dealer here in New Bern, NC. I have driven XC 70 and XC 90 and other Volvos since the 1970',s. This XC60 is the best Volvo I have ever owned. It is super in all ways.

Well... it didn’t stop my almost-new XC90 driving into the car in front, and pushing that car into the one in front of it... Maybe because it was a very slow speed incident. I was stationary in a traffic queue, with my XC90 T8 held on A (autobrake) when I may have touched the accelerator lightly. I still don’t know why it started moving.... but it steadily moved forward into the car in front, and pushed that car forward into the car in front of it. All this time I was stamping on the brake, and then also pulling it out of gear and into reverse. I have no idea why it didn’t stop sooner.... The whole incident took about 5 seconds and cost me $1200. Maybe the reason why CitySafety did noting to stop this collision was it was at very low speed (the vid mentions 2mph, these days it’s 3mph min?).

As an Uber driver, I could not be more pleased to own a car this safe. The rear seat belt reminders are hugely useful for safety too. You never know who's in your car and if they buckle up when they get in but unbuckle during the ride, that helpful little ding tips me off that someone may intend to bring harm to me. Might save my life one of these days.

why would you own an expensive safe car to drive around strangers? save yourself and your loved ones

@@Spheredalai why not have something that keeps you as safe as possible when you're at the highest risk you could possibly be at as a driver? Driving around drunk drivers at night, spending a lot of time in the city- etc
