I have always been a fan of Cold Lake! I have said if it was called something other than Celtic Frost it would have been huge.

I really like Cold Like and totally agree that it's not really that far removed from what Tom started doing with Into the Pandemonium and where things went with Vanity/Nemesis yet both of those albums are still canon for Tom. That back cover photo though... oof! The day I bought the album back in the early 90's my none metal head friends saw the photo and mocked it mercilessly.

Great video and interview. I was an og Hellhammer/Frost fan and Cold Lake took me by surprise but I still liked it, and it grew on me more over time. It was a different time back then and extreme metal fans were less open minded in a way. Thanks for doing this interview, it's good to hear some of the background from musicians like Amberg who don't get the recognition that they deserve. I'd like to hear the heavier raw demos of the Cold Lake tracks.

Necrobutcher is correct: people in Australia don't litter the streets or write graffiti on walls. On the other hand, here in the U.S., you can see trash in the streets and graffiti on the walls. Great interview 🤘

Don´t mean to burst your bubble mate, but people litter and spray graffiti everywhere no matter how "idyllic" the place is. Norway, Switzerland, Germany, France: it happens everywhere. Obviously not the same level everywhere, but idealizing other countries isn´t all that productive. Edit: haven't been to any african or asian countries so correct me if I'm wrong about the grafffiti and littering. Although I've heard Singapore is serious about littering.

This is a neat series of videos, and I’ve enjoyed most of the content. As an interviewer I think at times your in my opinion, agenda to vilify Dani filth and what that would achieve can’t fathom is all too present, and leads your questioning, and this does put a sour taste in a lot of these proceedings. Off handed comments throughout, to how you questioned current members. There are several obvious things from the outside that are undeniable. The band has had a lot of members, Dani is and always has been the main driving force behind the vehicle, better or worse it’s not confusing. His is one of the most recognizable voices in metal of any genre, and he is widely known and praised for his lyrics. Most of the people you’ve interviewed/ left cradle, went on to do nothing/ contribute nothing that yourself or the general fan base seems to care about. So what does that say about the band or us as fans? Why does that say about that singular person’s personality and or drive to get something done/ heard or seen? There are several factors that put a band to those heights but as history stands for 90 percent of those members when you took Dani out of the equation said members never saw the lime light again. I also is sad to hear you question these people using phrases like legacy band. Cradle is a band who are regularly recording, releasing and touring said new music. Your actions support you are the legacy fan if that makes any sense. You get into metal when you are 17-18 hear two things you like and are stuck. As your not an actual fan of the band anymore, well what the band has been for more of their life span than they haven’t been. There are more people, more fans that like all eras than those stuck on dusk or cruelty. Again I do enjoy this series and thank you for taking time out of your life to do this, but it would be better if you just made one long video getting your angst out on Dani then continuing on with a clear head.

@@nilexistenceofficial2567 When the band is done and we’re all grey-haired, I’ll reach out to Dan and let him know that if he’s ready, so am I. Although he’s probably completely unaware of what I’m doing, and honestly, even if he does know, he probably doesn’t care. That’s why I don’t waste time worrying about his feelings. Also, don’t get too worked up on his behalf - he likely wouldn’t give you a second thought, believe me. As for everything else you’ve had to say I couldn’t be bothered responding and you’re entitled to your perspective anyway. Thanks for listening though. Plenty more to come🤞

@ haha I understand that. And I’d hope he doesn’t care about your or my opinion in the matter. But I’m also not the one dedicating all this time to this cause. Dani has apparently hurt you and the truth your are trying to uncover is beyond me. But again there are a lot of cool stories being told and that’s great. My long post really should be that condensed to you come off pretty disrespectful to current members of this band through some of the questions you’ve asked and comments made. These members put the time in and are making great music to many people who are fans of the band. You have your favorites, which dusk is my personal favorite. Nothing wrong with that, my aim was to more so say thank you for your time as well and maybe think about how you talk down to peoples work that you haven’t really listens to often, or at all as you’ve said many times to Ashok. That one was hard to listen to. I don’t try to come off to people as disrespectful so I thought that criticism was worth mentioning. Opinions are also in no short supply hahah thank you again man

Do it Brother! They definitely deserve an. Autobiography. Story of each band member growing up in south Louisiana. Childhood, How they met etc. Good times , bad times , Also interview hardcore fans for some reactions. I grew up with these guys and remember picking up Dax riggs to get him to a gig on time bcuz he didn’t own a vehicle lol I loved the whole band but only really knew Sammy and Dax the most. I think it’s a brilliant idea for an autobiography! Long overdue and think it would give fans & future fans a glimpse /glance and more insight into the background story of Acid Bath. Awesome idea & would love to see that &happen. People would pay to own a copy of that . I think it would look awesome for the front cover of the book to look like their album cover bcuz it would catch the eye at any bookstore. If you can make this happen & it will definitely make money , I think a short video for KZbin talking about the autobiography would promote it and bring in even more sells . 😎 I love those guys and they truly deserve the best & have been thru so much . They have worked so fucking hard over the years and definitely earned to have way more fame & star power !! An autobiography may just do that for them along with a small secret that they’re getting back together and playing in Vegas nxt year 😎😎😎

I'm the ones that critic a little bit the latest setlist that they did. They seem to not recognize themselves as a prog band and instead prefer to be more headbanger 4/4 based. I would like to see more of they're proggy stuff that came after the Great Cold Distance/Night Is New Day and beyond.
