I have severe long COVID and the chronicles of filth has given me some joy during hard days where it is hard to come by. So I say thank you very much for all the effort you have put in to deliver these interviews. Keep up the good work with all the interviews on your channel and thank you.

@@samharvey3241 Sometimes, you get three or four no's before there's a yes, so I’ll never shut the door completely. However, John was adamant that he didn’t want to come on the show right now.

Necroticism is dark yet playful. It’s gross and gothic. Carcass were reaching (like he admits) and it reminds me of other transitional albums like Hell Awaits and Ride the Lightning. Somewhere between garage and studio. To me they are perfection.

24:24 this is the golden ticket. Dude's happy driving trucks and making the music that he wants when he wants because he feels it, without worrying about pleasing an industry, which sounds like it would be a terrible way to get easily burnt out on making music.

I don't see David as an originator.. in Terrorizer the songs were written by Oscar Garcia and the rest of the band ,David was brought in to record due to arrest made to the bass player... long story and Morbid A was stablished years prior to him joining the band .

Just watching this now. It’s so obvious there has been a serious disagreement between some of the former and current members of IF. I respect their right to keep it under wraps, but at this point, I think it is not just about Jeppe’s addictions but also maybe Anders’ seemingly strong desire to change the sound after Clayman.

talk show was such a great album, i just think it didnt hit was because of the names (specifically Scott's). I do feel talk show could've went a little more "modern"? or more rock and not so much like soft-ish if that makes sense. I just wish they gave it a chance and made a second album because i really love Dave's voice and it fits well with Stp's sound

Great conversation! As Fredrik said, The Last Will and Testament is really an action packed album. I think it's the most condensed and cohesive album that Opeth put out since Ghost Reveries. Solid record, from start to finish! I hope Opeth releases a few more concept albums in the near future. Again, thanks for the interview! All the best! 🔥🤘

I agree about the impact Nick Barker had with the early Cradle of Filth Albums. They are the most important albums of what the band were. I feel they have done some great albums after as well but I have a certain feel about the first 4 releases because Dusk In Her Embrace was the album that got me into Cradle Of Filth 1996 and when I first heard them. There was a natural Organic Chemistry full on that was there back then that hasn't been quite the same since. Great Interview!!
