I was maybe 13 or 14 when i somehow found the book, Dean Koontz Phantoms. The book was so freakin good. Then, maybe a year later I saw that the movie was coming out and i was beyond stoked. Of course it wasnt as good as the book, they usually never are, but i still loved it.

People that don't read comments all day, especially before commenting for themselves. Most people make a comment based on an experience with the video, not based off all the other comments! Lame.

With those skin-tight uniforms, it's an absolute crime that Megaforce had no female members. It's also a crime that Filmation didn't see fit to make a TV show based on this movie, which indeed plays like a series pilot at numerous points! At least, that's my opinion. What do y'all think?

This film is based on Dean Koont's horror classic novel "Phantoms" which is about a town built over the hibernating place of an ancient predatory amoeboid life form. In the novel, this strange creature is known as "Ancient Enemy" which may have existed on Earth millions of years ago. Interestingly, one of the scientists in the novel speculates that there could be more than one of these "Ancient Enemy". Pennywise the clown from "It" could also be one of these "Ancient Enemy".
@Sidius.76083 ай бұрын
Could be. Nice theory. A sequel to this timeless classic after 31 years would be awesome.
