I love the deep red colors of bay scallops. I find myself collecting more scallops focusing on color varieties. Excited to get back home and hitting the sunrise and sand.😊

Always look for the keyhole. However, the environmental conditions need to improve so that the shelling improves.

Amazing to find banded tulips so easy there. That's a bucket list shell for me. I guess they're not so common in Pensacola 🤔. Thank you for the video BBD!

I have a couple of flat spots i check weekly. I usually do well with flats and sand dollars in these spots but as BBD says the contour changes frequently!

Thanks for watching. It all depends upon the contour of the beach. Since that changes daily I often will drive around and check several spots and walk a few miles if I find some nice contours. Could be either side so be mobile. Merry Christms & Happy New Year.

Never been to PCB...The beach and water look beautiful but the shelling doesn't. I just returned from Keewayden/Marco Island last week and Kice and Dickmans in the 10K islands in SW Florida in July. Outstanding shelling there. The best in my opinion. PCB shelling looks like alot of broken shells. I have also been to NE FL near Amelia Island, Fernandina Beach, St Augustine areas to shell. The 10K islands are the best in terms of quantity, variety and size. Planning a trip to Honeymoon Island near Dunedin this coming spring to look for specific shells to add to my collection that I could not find in SW Florida. Sorry but the shelling at PCB looks unremarkable. I can cross that off my list to shell at.

Thanks for watching. You sure have been around and visited some beautiful areas, and that's what shelling is about: the journey. When we visited Shell Island the farther I walked the less people I saw. That's something you really don't experience in southwest florida as it gets hit really hard. And yes, the shelling and collecting are different. No matter where you go, the shelling can be tremendous if you can walk alone or see very few people and have the cares of the world melt away. Collecting on the other hand will vary with the moon phase, wind direction, weather conditions, and even the lay of the land. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.

Nice seeing shells appear. Nothing like walking up on a rack line glistening in the sun 🌞. I found a couple of imperials and a sand dollar this morning 😊
