Do you use a ballpoint needle with the digital printed fabric? I haven’t tried it yet but understand this is how to prevent the issues with the fabric.

You are spoiling us with so many videos so close together! Thank you!! I really like when you give cost information. People who do not sew do not understand how much each of the components is and that the total cost of a simple table runner can easily be over $50 (and that is excluding paying a wage to the person making it!). Then they compare it to something from Kohl's or Walmart that they can get for $20. It is NOT comparing apples to apples. I really like your longarm Tuesdays. Have a great day!
@dclutterquiltingАй бұрын
Glad you like them! I am trying to make up for not having any videos for a while I guess. I actually filmed making this table runner but I messed up the filming so I had to ditch it.

I love that backing fabric with the sunflowers! The batting was sooooooo close but you did it! Hope you are feeling better. I use the Red Snappers on my Gammill. I bought it used from a lady who stapled her backings on. The leader edges were so holey I had to replace them. Yours still look really good. Is the trick making sure you put the staples in a certain way (the way you showed)? It is fast with the staples but I have gotten pretty quick with the snappers too.
@dclutterquiltingАй бұрын
Yes the trick is putting the staples in right. I have had these same leaders for 6 years. You should always do what works for you. Many people use the snappers. I am not really worried about my leaders. I have lots of extras since they are zipper leaders. They don’t look any worse then when I use to pin. Thanks for commenting Marcia!❤️

Hi! Great video. Is there any chance you could make a smaller version that would fit in an 8x12 hoop or maybe a version that can be used to make a bowl cozy for a smaller bowl like for ice cream? 8x12 is the largest sized hoop that my machine can handle, so I need a smaller version. Thank you!
