Wait a second... When the tank is full and the battery is full...you get the range of 374 miles, at best?
@jonesz53884 ай бұрын
Yes and No. That is a 10 Gal tank, and on a full charge, you can get anywhere from 21 to 34. I'm only getting up to 21 - 24 sometimes.

I fear that in a PHEV the PETROL motor is relatively small and would struggle in more demanding conditions.

Does the Outlander PHEV have a 7-pin plug and harness to tow an electric braked trailer?

There are three big mistakes in this video. The LEFT paddle increases the regen and the RIGHT decreases it (she got that the wrong way around even though the right paddle is marked with "+" and the left with "-", those details don't actually refer to regen strength but mimic "gears". Going down a gear, ie "-", increases engine braking). The second is the tree with the leaves. That is just a gimmick that has conned many MOPHEV drivers and has nothing to do with economy. It is based on how much one uses the accelerator pedal. To achieve the most leaves, drive everywhere in cruise-control and use the "up", "down", "Cancel" and "Restore" buttons to moderate the speed. It will be far less economical than sensible driving but because you are not using the accelerator pedal, the car will return a tree full of leaves. Thirdly, the ECO button does not reduce power to the motors/engine. It remaps the accelerator pedal so, to achieve the same amount of acceleration, one just presses it further.

When I press the voice control button, the lady says: "handsfree system is locked. State the password to continue." End of story. What do I do if I don't have that password? I can't get any further. Catch 22.

What convinced me to get my first Mits Phev was the negative reviews here on YT. I'd often see an off road comparison with the a Land rover or something similar, and.. as you'd expect it would always come out second best. I'd watch videos comparing is ride quality to the Range Rover Phev, and again it'd come out second best. There were a few videos with multiple SUV's where it got a middle of the road score.. All of this showed me that just to be considered worthy of being compared to dinner really high end vehicles it must have a lot going fire if, especially at (in some cases) half, or even a third of the price.. They might not be the best Phevs, the best 'off roader', or the most luxurious SUV, but it's generally good at most things.

My family owns 2 Mits Phevs, we love them. Towing isn't as plain sailing as this review indicates. On the flat it's great, it can also tackle hills with relative ease. But what it can't do is pull a heavy load from a standing start up a steep hill. One needs to be aware of this, if you're approaching a steep hill whilst towing you have to make sure you're not going to stop, otherwise wherever you stop becomes your campsite... You're not going to get going again.. it's a mistake you'll only ever make ONCE Other than that they're superb!

Very good looking vehicle. Unfortunately unavailable in India. Re produce the same threr door version with electric battery amd of possible solar panel on top. And keep the 4x4 feature too. Then it may be a huge success all over the world

Geat invention. Very good vehicle. Please launch in India. I really like this to buy. There are a lot of Mitsubishi lovers in India. And 3 door 4x4 is favorite for many people too. Why don't you market the same vehicle in India? If it is electric then of course it will be a huge success in India and may be worldwide. The vehicle design is really amazing and beautiful ♥♥♥
