Just like the police, zero reproccussions for being low IQ idiots. Why I quit watching baseball. 2024 and they miss a strike by a foot. We use cameras for everything on earth but these clowns

As an umpire of high school baseball for 30 yrs, one thing fans & players & coaches don't understand is a pitch doesn't have to enter & exit the strike zone a strike, it just has to graze the strike zone at some point in its flight to the catcher....

Past baserunners dealt with constant pick off moves. Now that it is limited, stealing is way easier. Rickey don't think Ella will ever be as great as Rickey. Rickey gotta go.

Mistakes or not (quite sure they're not) no one apologize. This is awful. Automatic point (not only 1st base) with ejection for pitcher, catcher and coach: these things will stop immediately.
you might be wondering "why are my videos not doing well?" it's because you dont show the replays.

No doubting the athleticism of the players but isn't that why they get paid millions of dollars? The Cubs don't pay Dansby Swanson $25,000,000 to make routine plays, now do they? Cheers....

@@Online-Sports I mean, I actually saw this live on my local FOX channel! They ended up repeating it as the highlight of the game throughout the broadcast! My local sports channel was airing another game on Sunday. The Baseball dudes ALWAYS talk about what happened, around the world of Baseball, before the game. They even presented that highlight once before the game started, AND we’re STILL talking about it throughout the game, despite it wasn’t those two teams who were playing!

Pitcher's need to REALLY get sever fines for hitting batters. This is the MAJOR LEAGUES!! Pitch it straight or go home.
@myaperson2 ай бұрын
Well that’s how it goes, we’re humans, not machines, we make mistakes and errors and a messed up pitch hitting someone is something you cant take out by hitting players with fines. The only case in which you should do so is if it’s too the head or targeting. But all players are aware of that risk when they step up to the plate, that’s why you get to leave the box and stand on the bag, so you can’t get hit by the pitcher again (unless he really messed up a pickoff)
@Redeemable88Ай бұрын
Tell me you haven't competed as a pitcher without actually telling me. Professional is a word used to describe the best. The best does not mean perfect. Pitches can get away from a pitcher easily enough at any level. If it seems intentional I agree with the fines. There would have to be some serious basis for that.

@Hypemeup-f6e3 ай бұрын
No
@scarbo22293 ай бұрын
Not at all. Many were just inside pitches, not far from the strike zone. Used to be called brush back pitches, but now batters just stand there and take the hit. Some were off-speed or breaking pitches that just got away.

Norby has his fielding problems carry over into the MLB. The one thing that did hold him back from prior callups is his defense. He has to work on that if the Orioles project him to be a corner infielder at 3b.

0:44 The infielder is lucky that he missed the ball with his thrown glove. If he had hit it, the penalty is an automatic award of three bases to all runners, including the batter. I'd be surprised if someone senior (like the manager or bench coach or an older teammate) didn't remind him of that after he got back to the dugout.

Throwing a ball from 60 feet away into a zone slimmer than your waistline is not the easiest thing to do 100% of the time. Your grip can slip or something goes wrong in your delivery and the ball veers off course. Most hit by pitches are not intentional.
