I'm not too sure, but I did see a video somewhere that it was being loaded by a 'wheel loader'. Perhaps that could be the reason.

this is the busiest freight line with every freight train moving in & out of chullora & port botany. they have two lines with one that splits on the left that goes to chullora & the right straight up line. goes towards port botany that their very active during the day & night & everyday.

it's also how freight trains get onto the Illawarra line and for trackwork trains using it as the side door to get into Sydney and T4 line

@@aussiejohn5835 have you seen qubes new QE class yet. they look really nice in their new liverly & is very similar to the ones that SCT/SSR/ONE RAIL(Aurizon) & Whitehaven coal has got. they first got the new QL' S already operating for sometime & then their brand new QE'S came next & is in Sydney. SSR currently got more new ones too.
