It's weird, some servers it works perfectly, some it doesn't. I tried this recently on a friend's server and couldn't get it to work. But it's a glitch, so it's not going to be perfect...

Thanks bro! worked for me. I had to use it because my server doesnt alow for us to use enderpearls to get on top. It doesnt let us throw it on top for sum reason.

I have found from practice that you need to be way up above the lava when you do it. Like off a cliff or fortress. I tried it on someone else's server and I was 1 block above the lava. I took a hot bath. I went way up in the air and did it, and it worked.

If you find yourself swimming in lava, you're doing it wrong. Take a fire res potion or enchanted apple with you next time.

I have been life-flighted to Vanderbilt in Nov. 2000, thats what I was told. I don't remember any of it because of injury's. I have signed do not resuscitate papers before but these people was doing a very caring job. I'm sure my family is happy I was saved. I cried watching this one, witch is a first.

I guess I should explain that Brandon is a Morrow Co. Sheriffs Deputy that was involved in a gun battle with a drug dealer, he was wounded in the line of duty, badly, but was able to fend off the shooter allowing two innocent people to escape the area. He almost gave his life to protect his community. He is a hero in every sense of the word. He returned to his home town this weekend to begin the long road to recovery and hopefully heal up and return to duty.

they only keep the engines running if its a bad emergency. but if the person is not in critical condition they will shut the motors down.

we keep the a/c spinning on ALL scene jobs, unless safety dictates otherwise. that's not a pretty LZ, but i don't know why he shut down.

So do military Med'evacs... whole different mission tho.

They always stop the rotors. I haven't been to a med flight scene where they "keep the engine running".
