I use to use the original gator 100's with the chizzel tip. They were awesome. Shot several deer over and over with them. When they switched to the cut on contact bladed tip they broke and bent without pass throughs. I've been using rages and they won't deploy the bladed with a 390 fps crossbow. I'll buy some of these next year. Didn't know bass pro started making them. Was a great broad head in the late 90's.

I tried the 1,5” version bass pro came out with in 2014’. After shooting 2 deer with no blood trails and finding them with 1” entrance and exit slits I tossed them. Didn’t realize they came out with a 2” version like Barie Artchery rocker mountain gators like in the 90’s with a chisel tip. I have shot tons of deer and a 7’ 6” black bear with them. They make a 3” to 6” entry slit with monster blood trails that are 10’ to 12’ plus wide. Not that I needed a blood trail because most deer dropped within 20 to 30 yards.

You probably figured out you question within the last year lol. But if you haven't, it comes with another cap that is just a cap instead of the wifi cap.

I have been shooting the NAP Slingblade that is almost completely identical to this head with great results. Might switch to this head since it is all stainless and has thicker blades. Great info . Some people don’t get that inertia is what keeps the blades closed ! Nice with no O -rings

I had a similar idea. I used an old layer of these from my workout room and made a target 12 mats deep with thin plywood backing. Haven't tried it yet. you think it would stop a 40lb shot from close range?

🤦 release lenght is set wrong you should have a deep J for your finger not use the tip of your finger. Second not a great start when your breaking arrows due to poor form.

Thats impressive. I tooka buck with the XL model and did a good job. I want to try their 175 grain soild blade model. I bet that would be a tank. Have you taken any deer with them yet? Liked and subscribed

I've tried once, this material doesn't last long and break in chunk, leaving residue.

The only problem with using this material is that it leaves a heavy residue on your arrows. That has been my experience with this material

I have this on the way to either back up my Scott LIttle Bitty Goose or to take its place and have the LIttle Bitty be back up. I think this is the closest to the Little Bitty after they discontinued (which is weird because it was hugely popular).
